Today at Safeway my $1.50 Kashi coupon was rejected because the price of the cereal was $2.00 and they said their coupon policy (I'm in Maryland) was that they would only take coupons for half or less of the value of the product. I got home and checked their policy online and sure enough, that's what it says. I called Giant and asked them about this, and they assured me that they don't have such a policy – that if I had given them a $1.50 Kashi coupon on a $2.00 box of cereal, they would have taken $1.50 off. Hmmmm….wonder where I'll try to shop from now on…..
Hi Anon, I am sorry that happened- what a waste of time. I think the official policy is to reject high value coupons but actual practice is totally different. I will get that caveat up in next week's post as you are the second person that has told me this.

Can you confirm that the Kashi Honey Sunshine is part of the deal? In my ad it looked like it was only the Kashi puffs and the Go Lean Crunch, but I'm hoping the Honey Sunshine is part of the deal!
