Here is my menu plan for the week! I am excited because we have quite a bit of protein in the freezer from sales the past two weeks and I have an awesome new resource for menu planning. If you watch as much Reality TV as I do you might have caught the Next Food Network Star?

Well the winner got a TV show and everything she makes just looks incredible. She is a mom of FOUR toddlers (!), is full of amazing tips in the kitchen and even better- she is conscious of budgets and prepares healthy, easy recipes that look like you spent ages in the kitchen. If you haven’t put her show, $10 Dinners, on the DVR you are missing out! So like I said, everything she makes looks incredible hence this week’s menu full of her ideas!

MONDAY: North African Meatballs w/ Brown Rice (next time I will try Couscous)
TUESDAY: Chicken a l’ Orange w/ crispy potatoes
WEDNESDAY: Organic Mac and Cheese w/ Butternut Squash and Green Salad
(I do mac and cheese Jessica Seinfeld style and mix Butternut Squash with orange mac and use Cauliflower w/ white mac and cheese. So yummy!)
THURSDAY: Mushroom and Spinach Quesadillas w/ Pepperjack Cheese
FRIDAY: Potato Bacon Torte w/ Green Salad
SATURDAY: Blackened Chicken Caesar Sandwiches w/ Caesar Salad

SUNDAY: Smothered Chicken w/ Bacon Potatoes
