RULES OF THE GAME:
::You can only double 4 like coupons
::You can only double 10 total coupons per trip
::Internet coupons should be accepted and are OK for doubling
::Doubles up to $2 and no overage will apply, so a $2.99 item with a $2 coupon will double for .99 only and you’ll get it free
::Don’t forget sales tax will apply to your pre-coupon total
::You must have $25 in merchandise PRIOR to using coupons in order to get doubles
::You can also use this $5/50 Kmart coupon if you have $50 in merchandise- you will want to give this coupon first
::Some stores would only allow coupons up to $1.99 last time, you might call your store to check

I called Kmart customer service at 1-866-562-7848 this morning (8/27) at 9:00am EST to inquire if my local K-Mart will be participating in the doubling of coupons starting 8/30/09… and the woman told me that that campaign has been put on hold. Just wanted to let you know.
I called 8/27 at 10:30 and they told me they would be doubling in Clio, MI and not in GA. The GA stores are not participating.
Hi Everyone, Thanks for letting me know about the expired/broken links etc… Also I had one person tell me it was put on hold too but I don't think that is correct. We will know for sure on Sunday but I think those people are a little confused since the memo said all doubling would be put on hold after the 8/30 event. Karla, Kmart is notorious for changing things last minute so who knows but I would certainly plan on this being the last event at Kmart.

Assuming Kmart will be doubling this week, did anyone else get the couponbook from Kraft? I got mine yesterday. It had about $14 dollars worth of coupons plus a $20 rebate. Just throwing it out there because it would $28 dollars in coupons plus $20 rebate. FYI-the rebate is big, 10 boxes of cookies/crackers, 5 drinks (ie capri suns) and 5 single cup mac & cheese…so not easy, but maybe worth it.

I called my Kmart store and the woman I spoke to said that they don't have any limits on the coupons. You can use as many as you like and there is no limit on the amount. Has anybody else had this happen? It just seems to good to be true.

Buy 2. Use a $2 coupon that will double (this will count toward your 10 coupon limit)
Use the BOGO coupon- since you "bought one" already (you just paid with a coupon instead of with cash)- since BOGO coupons are not doubling this will not count toward your 10 coupon limit.
Here's the thing though. I have heard that BOGO coupons are doubling automatically at Kmart. I am not encouraging you to do that since it is against the rules but you will want to pay attention to your receipt. If the BOGO doubles than you would have a bit of a mess as the $2 coupon will create overage or it might beep. I hope that doesn't confuse you.
Also I have to wait to get my P&G insert today since I am not 100% sure the $2 coupon is for the toothbrush I checked last night. I will edit the post if it isn't the same item!

I just called the customer service number provided and was told "The coupon double event for the week of August 30th has been cancelled." Have you heard anything?
Hi Sheridan, I can't say for sure but it looks like 1% of the time callers are being told it was cancelled. I did hear that from one rep when I made my 5 calls but she doubled checked and said- oh sorry after this one on 8/30. Also I heard on a few forums that people already have ads that show doubles right on the cover. So I can't promise but I think if you call again you might get a different answer.
There was a nescafe coffee-mates sticks bogo coupon in the 8/9 Red Plum that will give you two free boxes of these.
There was also a nescafe tasters-choice sticks bogo in a recent week that will give you two free boxes.
This is my firt coupon day at kmart. Can you purchase two of the same items? Will this count as 2 itmes in you 10 total count
Yes 2 of the 10 and you can only have 4 like coupons- so if you want 5 packs of huggies you can use (4) $1.50/1 coupons and maybe a $2 off Pull Ups coupon- it can only be a max of 4 of the same.

Thanks so much for putting together such a great list!!! I really appreciate it!! During the last doubles, I did find in the pet's toy section Nylabones for $4.49. There is a PDF (you can print as many as you want) out there for $2 off any Nylabone product, so .49 for the toys. I stocked up on a bunch for my dogs and picked up more to donate to our local animal shelter. It would also work for the edible Nylabone products.

Keri, I found them by the checkstands and at the front near the weekly ads. If you don't see them you might want to ask. They are manufacturer coupons so they can be used at any store.
Keri, I got the actual coupon in the 8/30 P&G and it is a fancy new version of Oral B so it won't work. I have to do a little more looking today to try and find another one.
I just picked up a Sunday Chicago SunTimes and it says on the front of the ad "Double Mfg Coupons up to $2". I couldn't believe that they'd do it again when they just did it 2 weeks ago, but I guess it's true.
I don't want to rain on anyones parade, but they have suspended this campaign until 2010. Just got off the phone w/ Cust. Serv. and the lady there said, "No go for this wkend." It sounds like all of your planning ladies is for naught.
I believe the confusion is that the indefinite suspension begins after this coming week of doubles.

I also called the store close to me in Illinois and a store in Michigan earlier today and they both said they were particpating.
I just called my store and they said they are not participating even though they are on the list…what time does customer service open!!!?
I just called my Kmart (Brookhaven, PA) and they are participating. However, the ads on Kmart's website are not showing this information.

Chrissee, I called the Brookhaven Kmart this morning and they told me no! I knew they had to be wrong!!! GRR. So I drove over to Holmes and went to the one on mcdade. I got a ton of great stuff (including 4 boxes of capri sun, 2 boxes of nabisco variety packs,dog bones, nail polish, 2 bottles of Ajax soap and tons more) 26 items and paid $3.67. I'm hoping to go again tomorrow.

Jessica, I went to Brookhaven and had problems. Try them tomorrow! I talked my husband into going with me so we could use 20 coupons and spent only $7.79. Not bad considering I bought a package of Pampers, which cost $9.99 regularly. Good luck the rest of the week! 😉
Chrissee, I actually went back tonight and it was nuts. There were only 2 cashiers to it took forever and they thought they would have problems with my coupons. Even though its more of a drive Holmes might be a good place to go…they didn't "enforce" the number of coupons so I bought 26 items at the same time. Hopefully I'll be albe to figure out a few more deals for this week & stock up!
I really hate the brookhaven Kmart and go there as little as possible but for double coupons I'll make the trip 🙂

Jessica, Brookhaven had some problems with my coupons but they didn't seem to care to manually enter them. The people behind me weren't too happy though.
I'll try Holmes tomorrow. I rather go to a Kmart that doesn't enforce the 10 coupons. It can such a hassle. Less trips, the better!

I shopped my Blue Ash, OH KMart today and they are limiting you to only 10 coupons. Bummer!
I was there at 9am and they were already out of a lot of items. Even so, I used 9 coupons and saved $26 in coupons. Paid $31.24 ($2.16 in tax). This was for 13 items.
I am frusterated w/ my kmart. My kmart was among the list of stores participating. Went to the store, they said they were NOT. Emailed customer service they said they ARE to be participating and are sorry for my inconvenience. I dont want to go back there again and have them not double. What a pain!!
Hi Anon, I hear ya and trust me I have the most awful service at my store too. It really takes the fun out of shopping at Kmart. I highly recommend taking the Customer service phone number with you to the store- it is listed at the top of this post. If you have any problems at all call them (they answer almost immediatly)and they can set your store straight. I specifically asked this very question and I was told clearly that stores did not have the ability to decide if they wanted to participate. It is mandatory from corporate.
I called customer service this a.m. The guy told me the program had been suspended due to finances. Said it was supposed to be 8/30 – 9/5 but that it had been cancelled. I called my local Kmart in Calhoun, GA. They are not a participating store. They said another store about 30 miles away in Dalton, GA was in a different district so they may be. Just out of curiousity I called them. YEA!!!! they are participating. They said it had not been cancelled but it was limited to 10 per customer per day. How they can tell if the same customer comes back in one day I don't know but anyway that is unbelievable. 30 miles apart and 1 is participating but 1 is not – go figure. At least I have one to go to. My heart was broken when the guy @ c.s. said it was cancelled. Maybe GA hasn't got the news bulletin from corporate yet. Great for me.
