Albertson's was split into two different companies 3 years ago. The chain was sold and split. Supervalu (based in MN) bought Jewel, Acme, Shaw's, and the ABS stores not purchased by a group of investors. That group of investors bought the NorCal, CO, TX, OK, FL, AZ, and NM Albertson's stores – the ones that they haven't sold off or closed since are under Albertson's LLC. Personal knowledge, refreshed by Wikipedia. 🙂

Oh yeah. I love Albertsons! They have incredible sales from time to time. Kmart NEVER doubles here (Oregon) but we get Albies doubles regularly to make up for it.
I would love to see Albertsons deals on your blog! Your coupon match-ups are always so thorough. And Albertsons is a great store. With all the doubles and cat deals they always have going on, I feel like I have to go there almost every day. Plus, I seem to get a $2 survey coupon printed on my receipt every week.

Albertson's are the best source for saving with coupons. Thank you for including them in your postings.
I'd be interested in any big sales (like the recent Kraft deal). The closest Albertson's is in the next town over, so I don't shop there regularly but am happy to make the trip if it's worth it.
