Typically I post Safeway deals tonight- a day in advance. You might wonder how I get the ad early? I signed up with Red Plum for the advertisements! Every week on Monday I get a few ads from Red Plum- usually fast food or restaurant coupons. On Tuesday I get the same along with the advance copies of three local grocery chains that have ads that start on Wednesday.
What’s the advantage to that? Well I like knowing a day ahead what the next week brings in deals. If the next week’s ad is pretty dull than I have one more night to run to the store and stock up on the prior weeks’s sale. If it is a hot week I have one extra day to plan my trip and organize my menu.
Since we just moved I didn’t get my advance copy of the ad today so I will have to wait until it is available online tomorrow to post the deals.
