Thanks for the heads up on the great deals! I am new to couponing, but with a family of 6, I need to save somehow! What does ECB mean? Thanks again!

Extracare Bucks. If you click on the tab under my header that says Drugstore 101 there is more information. Basically it is a CVS credit that you can use like cash on anything in store.

Neither the Colgate or the Speedstick coupons are showing up for me – bummer! I'll be getting a lot of the free after ECB deals though, and I got a $3 off $15 in my inbox good through tomorrow, so I can use that. Thanks for the heads up on all the deals – how do you find out about them before the CVS flier gets to my inbox?

Hi Jam, Sorry about that- I wish they would make those coupons available to everyone.
If you come here on Wednesdays you'll know about all the deals too since I post a sneak peek of the coupons, Rite Aid, Wags and CVS.

Sorry – one more question. I was able to print out two SoBe coupons – how does the B1G1 coupon work when it's B1G1 at CVS? You say you can get two free, but I don't really understand the transaction. Do you just pick up two, and with the CVS deal and the coupon, does that make them come out free? So if you were doing a 2nd transaction, could you do another set with the other coupon? Thanks for you help!

If you only want to use 1 coupon than you would get 2. They will ring up one at full price and one free. The cashier will scan the coupon and the full price one will be deducted. I always get nervous doing this but it is perfectly legit as one free one is from the manufacturer and one is typically from the store. Some cashiers will refuse to allow a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale so it is luck of the draw. I have never had one refused yet which always surprises me!

Great- thanks. I think I will use both coupons, but in separate transactions (assuming the first one works fine) since the SoBe coupon says one per purchase, and I'll be doing at least 2 transactions anyway. I just started with all this coupon/deals stuff and last week was my first week doing two transactions at CVS. I was nervous doing it even though I know it is allowed! When I was at Walgreens on Thursday, they took all my coupons during my first transaction, and then for my second the cashier (a different one) said they don't take internet coupons. I knew they did as they had just taken them, plus people on these blogs have said it's not a Walgreens company policy to not take them, so I spoke out and said – well, I know it's not a company policy… – and she called the manager and he said to take it! So I ended up with my whole planned deal there – very empowering – I was on a high the whole way home! Your blog, and others like it, have been so helpful getting me started on this and making it so much easier to find all of the good deals everywhere – I really appreciate the resources.

How do you get 2 Sunday papers each week for $19.95 a year? What newspaper is it? Can I get it too?
