Did you register for the Nielsen Home panel? I’d love to hear if you were accepted– unfortunately they didn’t need anyone in my area this time around. If accepted they ask you to scan your purchases and you will accumulate points that are redeemable for prizes. Yes it is the same Nielsen that conducts the TV ratings. This sounds like a great opportunity and they are only looking for people in very specific areas. Good luck!

I am doing it but I'm returning mine. You need to record every single purchase including gas. If I was single I'd keep doing it but it is impossible to keep up with my husband and kids. I got them doing it for awhile but they keep forgetting. I started back in November or December I think. I was originally put on a waiting list but after only a week or 2 they sent me an email that they were sending the scanner out. I think it's fun, you just really need to make sure the rest of the family is on board and stay on top of them.
I had a HORRIBLE experience w/ the Home Panel — please be cautioned that it is very demanding.
