Well, it is time to get serious about dropping these baby pounds! Maya is 6 weeks old so no more excuses! I have about 15 lbs to lose to hit my pre-baby weight and about 30 to get back into fighting shape (aka weight I was on the honeymoon).
I am going to post my updates on Fridays as part of Mommy Snacks Fat Burnin’ Friday. I don’t belong to a gym and it is hot, hot, hot here so getting myself motivated will be a challenge. I have discussed my frugal exercise routine here. I’d love to hear from you too- if you are in the process of losing weight- what is your routine?

I just had my 4th baby 8 weeks ago so I am right with you. I need to lose about 15 lbs. I don't belong to a gym but I have found the cheapest and most rewarding form of exercise has been running (going with a friend is an extra motivator to get up in the morning). All you need is a good pair of running shoes (which I just bought with the money I saved on coupons this month!!). A really great (and free) website to track your course, miles run/walked and calories burned is http://www.gmap-pedometer.com. Running and coupons have changed my life!!

my 2nd baby is just about 3 months… I am currently just under my pre-baby-#1 weight, but need to lose 10 pouds to get to my pre-baby-#2 weight… I lost an extra 15 pounds when my daughter was about 8 months old using South Beach diet plan (no exercise!). Can't really do that this time around since I'm nursing… so I hear you! 10 pounds in my goal, 15 or 20 would be AWESOME and put me (sort of!) back in my 18-year-old body (if only that were really possible!). Good luck… I'm jumping on that bandwagon too!
