Last week was really my first ever CVS trip but since I got 2 cans of soup free it wasn’t very exciting. I learned that when you go to CVS you can scan your card and the machine gives you coupons. Exciting! I scanned my card and got a $10 off $30 coupon– so I planned a quick scenario to spend $30.
Pampers $8.99 (There was a mistake this week with an online ad showing $8.99 Pampers with $5 back in ECBs. I called CVS customer service and they called my store and made sure I would be credited the ECBs. This is due in part to the fact that my store is just now transitioning from Long’s and they are being extra nice to new customers :). These rang up at $11.99 and they adjusted the price down.) Used $1 coupon
Tide Laundry Soap $4.99- used $1 coupon (a splurge as I never pay this much for laundry soap!)
5 boxes Frosted Mini Wheats $1.88- used 4 $1 off coupons and 1 Buy One Get One Free coupon
Just for Men Haircolor $6.99 ( We don’t need this or want this but I had a free coupon and needed to get up to $30. So donation box is goes!)
The total was $5.50 with .91 tax and I have $5 ECBs back. Fun!
PS: I was charged an extra $1 by mistake I have to go back to get credited the difference. So that makes 3 times overcharged in 3 shopping trips. I told you these would add up to a few hundred dollars in a year. I am at $24 so far this month!

Just wait until your store starts putting things on clearance. I am always pleasantly surprised by what I will find on clearance at CVS. Yesterday I got a bottle of Biore astringent for $4 that usually is $8. It was marked 50% off and I had a $2Q. I see deals like this all the time. I ALWAYS check for clearance wipes!

I meant to say I got it for $2, not $4. Much better!
