Yes I realize there is a difference between stockpiling and hoarding. This might be on the verge of hoarding! Anyway, I traded for Morningstar $2/1 coupons on a forum and wanted to hit up Target for the great sale!

I eat soy products a lot because they make such quick and easy meals for me- or kick up what I am already eating with a lot of extra protein. Since I am 38 weeks pregnant, quick and easy is the name of the game. At .99 a box after coupon, this sale makes for incredibly inexpensive meals.

So here is what I did:

(2) Target Diapers on clearance for $4.87 each= $9.74
Huggies Pull Ups clearance for $8.74- used $1.50 Target coupon (got in the mail) and $3/1 MQ
Will also submit for .75/1 rebate from Caregivers = $3.50/pack
Luvs Box 112 diapers- clearance $13.58 (forgot to use my $1/1 MQ!)
Hormel Pepperoni $1.23
(2) Coffeemate on clearance $1.23 each- used $1.50/2 IP
(4) Kashi Waffles $2.09- used $1.50/1 MQ
15 boxes assorted Morningstar $2.99 each- used $2/1 MQ

Used 5.00/50.00 Grocery catalina I received awhile ago.

I saved $50.25- used $7.12 in gift cards, paid $35.95 cash. Way more than I planned to spend but the diapers were too good to pass up.

And here is how to manage to store all that stuff. We don’t have a deep freezer so I stored 15 boxes plus I already had 6 boxes of Boca Burgers from the Safeway sale several weeks ago- so 21 boxes on this little shelf!

I ditched all the boxes and stacked the Bocas together- the chicken is in the back and then all the sausage is in one bag, bacon left in boxes and corndogs in another ziploc.

Kate, there were pampers, luvs, target, huggies, pull ups and the other pull ups type big kid diapers- in the white package? good nights or something? all on clearance- just 15% but its something.

Monica, Is that a steal on veggie products or what? I traded for them on a forum. I have no idea where they came from but they were some sort of tearpad with 6 or so per page. They looked like the Kashi coupons which I think came from Albertsons. If you register at A Full Cup you can look for the trade forum and try to get some. They were selling on Ebay for $1 each (!) and I got lucky that a trader wanted gum coupons. I had my husband go through a ton of inserts while he was watching ESPN and cut every darn gum one. So for the price of a stamp I got all those boxes. (Note: if you can’t get it together in time, you can always ask target for a raincheck and go back to stock up once you have your coupons in order.)

I like your idea of taking products out of boxes and putting in ziploc bags. But, I would still keep the boxes (folded flat) just in case of some recall so you can check the ones you bought. After you used them up, recycle the stack.

Hoarding is when you have more then you can possibly use but I think you just got a lot of great deals on products you will be able to easily use up. When I first started I was worried about hoarding too and I started to realize that I really did know my limits so I store what is possible and what I know I can use with in a certain amount of time. Good luck on your upcoming baby.
