I stopped into PetSmart to check on the rebate that is mentioned in the inserts this week. The 5lb dog food was priced at $14.98 and the rebate form was very specific that any manufacturer coupons could not be used. $14.98 seems extremely high to me for 5lbs of dog food- but if you are interested the bags have peelies on the front. The rebate only applies to PetSmart.
I did this deal a while back. The dog food was 12.99 at the time(this was back in August). The rebate came fairly quickly. The way I saw it was a free bag of dog food is hard to beat.
Free is free so it is still a bag of dog food for the price of a stamp- good point. My budget is pretty small every week so I usually pass on these rebates- but with a little more wiggle room it is a good deal.

I just looked through my inserts. I can only find 2 coupons — a $5.00 and a $10.00. No mention of a rebate anyplace on that entire page. Or, am I blind again?

It is only referenced in the inserts- you actually have to go to Petsmart and get a peelie for the details. Same SS as the coupons- mine was a full page on the back of the Zadiator coupon. The next page is the Pillsbury coupons. It says to go to Petsmart for info on a Free bag of Nature’s Best.
