Question about the Huggies deal? The Raley’s coupon says “cannot be combined with other coupons or offers.” Have you ever used a Raley’s coupon with a MC?
Charlene says
Yes, I have noticed that fine print and used to not bother stacking. Now I do all the time. My Raley’s has a store mgr that always seems to be in a check stand and I go straight to him for super easy transactions. My target price for diapers is $5 so if they refuse the MQ than I would just ask them to take it off the order. I plan to go anyway to get the yummy Pacific Organic Soups.

nice to see some deals for a grocery store i actually have in my area other than safeway. we only have safeway, nob hill, and luckys (which replaced albertsons but i don’t think the deals are compatible between luckys and albertsons)

Hi Carrie–
Being in Nor CA where the stores are sooo expensive I don’t think you can afford to be store loyal. Every week I have to look at every ad and usually make 2-4 stops to score the best deals. Safeway has been a pleasant surprise the last few weeks- hope you have been able to stock your freezer!

I live in NorCal and can’t find anywhere that will take my internet printables except Super Walmart. ๐

Hi Lindsay,
You shouldn’t have any problems with Target, WM and Walgreens. At Raleys I have never had a problem either. My Safeway stores used to tell me no IPs but I heard other stores in the area do accept them. Safeway customer service also told me they will accept them. Sometimes I use the UScan to get around it and avoid a cranky cashier. I have also learned which cashiers are coupon friendly in my stores. I usually hand them to them one by one and rarely have a problem. I think part of it is confidence- you have to act like you own the place rather than being a little nervous which I think makes them feel like you are up to something. Have you talked to your store managers? have you tried printing them in color? Don’t give up- the internet coupons are always the best ones! Also, if I do happen to have a coupon that won’t scan or the cashier rejects, I always politely ask them to take the item off my order.
