CLOSED. Giveaway: Cisco Valet Router

The Valet is  a new wireless router made just for people who are intimated by the traditional router. For those of us who may not be super tech savvy, this router has made it easy. You simply plug in a USB key and it does all the work for you.  Not only is it a reliable, solid router – it offers built in parental controls.

As a Mom of 2 little girls (who will be on the Internet sooner than I would like to think), the Internet security feature of the The Valet, is one I welcome.  I cannot imagine being worried about what websites my girls might visit or how long they will try to stay online at night. If you have a teenager, this is a great way to control the Internet usage, without putting software on the computer.

The Valet is made by the company who brought us the Flip video camcorders and it comes from  Cisco, a router brand that people know and trust. Along with its super easy setup, the Valet creates a guest network to go along with your main network. This gives your friends and family the ability to connect to the guest network – without disrupting your network.

If you would like to win the Cisco Valet, you get 3 chances to win!

This giveaway will run through Wednesday at seven PST.  Please be sure to leave a comment by clicking on comments in the lower right corner of this post.  (If you are viewing in a reader or on Facebook please click through to the blog to comment).  No entries via email, Facebook or Twitter will be considered.

REQUIRED ENTRY #1:  Tell me what you think the best feature of the The Valet is for your family.

BONUS ENTRY #2: You can like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook (or let me know you do!)

BONUS ENTRY #3: You can like  Cisco Valet on Facebook.

Please leave a separate comment for each!  Good luck!!

Staples .01 Deals!

Well the Staples ad is up and dig those pennies out of the sofa cushions! Staples is running a .01 sale from Sunday 2nd- Wednesday 5th only on filler paper (120 sheets). I would plan my trip EARLY as these deals are only available while supplies last. This week there is only one .01 item but there are tons of other great deals I will have for you soon! Hopefully we will see more items for .01 in the coming few weeks.

The limit is 5 but I understand teachers have a limit of 30- you might check with your store to verify. Also there are donation boxes right in the front of my store for school supplies. We don’t need filler paper but I will be buying my 5 and putting them all in the donation box.
