walgreens clearance

I stopped by Walgreens tonight and discovered they have 75% off Christmas items.  The store I visited still had quite a bit of merchandise.

I picked up a few things- these two stuffed bears are nice and soft and they were $2.48 each.  I plan to cut the Santa hat off one and tie a red ribbon on the other and they will be perfect for my girls for Valentine’s Day.  I also got a vintage-y looking Santa for $2.48, a 4pk of girl’s lip gloss for $.75, (2) Children’s Body Wash for $.50 each, a cute Snowman plate and matching cups for $.49 each (I kept meaning to make a plate for Santa’s cookies this year and never got to it), a Hello Kitty snowglobe for $.99 and I didn’t plan to buy candy but Snickers is my husband’s favorite.  Those were $1.22 per bag and then when I walked down the candy aisle there was a blinkie machine with $1/2 holiday candy coupons (expiring 1/19).  So $.72 per bag.

It might be worth checking out your local Walgreens!  One thing I was hoping to find (and didn’t) are these Disney snow globes they carry during the holidays.  Last year I got one on clearance for about $3- the one I got was Minnie but I saw an Ariel one advertised during the holidays. They are a total steal if you do find them!  My girls love those things.

Bev- I didn’t need gift tags but I couldn’t resist those :). My little girl has red mittens. They are gift tags.
