So there is a great deal on Mars fun size candy from Walgreens this month.
You can get bags of select candy for as low as $1.00 each.
Select bags of Mars candy are priced at $2.50 and you can do this:
Buy 2 bags of Mars fun size candy for $2.50
Buy 3rd bag for $2.69
Use $1/1 Walgreens store coupon (will deduct $3 total)
and Use $1.50/3 Mars Brand Fun Sized Bagged Candy, exp. 10/31/13 (RP 09/15/13)
or Use $1.50/3 Mars printable coupon
Final Price: $3.19 for 3 bags or $1.05 each!
The bags are priced at 2 for $5.00 so if you buy in quantities of (2) they are $2.50. If you buy in odd numbers, the price just goes up a few cents to $2.69 for the odd numbered bag.
So another option would be this:

And if you are wondering about Halloween, I usually use $1.00 per bag for bags this size as a rule of thumb for a good deal. Sometimes we see prices much lower and sometimes this is the best it gets.
I recommend waiting until closer to the holiday to buy if you are strictly getting these for Trick or Treaters. We should see plenty of sales and plenty of coupons. If you want to buy these as a treat for yourself, this is an excellent deal.
You could also grab them now and then not think about candy again but I find when this stuff is in the house I tend to eat it ;).
And this is the coupon you want to look for in the booklet. Don’t get confused by the other coupons they have. Last but not least, the sale price is not listed in the weekly ad. It appears in the bonus buy section of the ad. The bonus buys can be viewed online by checking Walgreens.com and enter your zip code to see your weekly ad. Continue scrolling through and this was listed on the last page for me.
I believe this 2/$5 price might be valid all month.

Actually if you buy one item it would be 2.69 and 2 would be for $5. anything after the 2nd item will be $2.50. So if you got a third item it would only cost you $2.50. I got 3 bags for $3 with all the coupons. Thanks!
Marley, I read it as 2 for $5 or $2.69 each. So 2 for $5 and a third for $2.69. It is only a difference of $.05 per bag though so if it works out better that is great :).
