I rented Oz for tonight. Has anyone seen it yet? I have heard mixed reviews and that it is not a movie to watch with the kids?
We saw Oz in theaters and we liked it. It was different than we had expected it to be but was entertaining and visually really fun to watch. I wouldn’t really recommend it for young children since I remember there being some kind of intense scenes.
I watched it before letting my 7year old watch it, she handled it ok. But there is some intense fighting and scariness but no death.
My kids (9,7,5) don’t scare very easily, (they like the Harry Potter movies, although we’ve not watched the later ones yet) but the witch scenes are a bit intense…I liked the movie overall. 🙂
