The Garnier is a $5UP WYB $15 so definitely NOT a MM or even free :(

Charlene October 11, 2012 at 7:47 PM

Kristin,

I apologize for making a mistake. It takes me probably 20 hours or more a week to do these matchups and I do not get paid for the work. It is actually a lot harder to do matchups then one might think. I do my very best each and every week but sometimes the fine print can be difficult to read or I just don’t see the teeny tiny print in some of the ads- like this Garnier deal you mentioned. You are always welcome to use the free coupon database to do your own store matchups. I am quite sure another great deal will come along soon enough- no reason to be upset ;) .

Kristin October 11, 2012 at 7:51 PM

Wow.. really?! I am not upset in the least. I was just pointing it out so that your readers would not be misled. No reason to get so snippy. I do do my own matchups, I just come here to see if there is anything I missed. Don’t think I will be doing that anymore.

Charlene October 11, 2012 at 8:11 PM

Kristin,

I wasn’t getting snippy I was just explaining. Again, I am sorry you are upset over the mistake on Garnier. I always read people’s comments in all caps as yelling ;)

everybody make mistake. i visit your site every week for the shop for free deal and i appreciate you a lot for what you do! THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

MFA Rocks! October 12, 2012 at 8:06 AM

Wow, Kristin… after all that Charlene does for us and how much money she saves us, you react to one tiny mistake like that? She was not at all snippy- I don’t think I could have reacted to your comment as calmly and nicely as Charlene did! I am sure I spoke for the rest of her readers in saying how much we appreciate all of her hard work, time, and efforts. Thanks, Charlene!

Charlene October 12, 2012 at 10:08 AM

LOL- thanks MFA! You are so sweet even when I am a little crabby ;) .

ayiticherie October 14, 2012 at 12:06 PM

It’s ok Charlene. We all get a little crabby sometimes. Love your website. Keep up the EXCELLENT work!!! :)

I purchased Garnier but didn’t get $5 I thought I should. I looked at the flyer and found I need to spend $15. I know there was a mistake but didn’t get upset. I went back to the store and returned the product. No big deal. Like everybody else, I go MFA site every day and found a lot of good deals in saving money. Thank you, Charlene.

Rite Aid NorCA: I went to check the prices on the No Nonsense socks. My store had them as low as $4.99 with 4+UP back = I got the women’s socks 3pk $4.99 – 4+UP = $.99 for three ($.33 ea.) They’re nice & thick, too. :)
