I stopped into a Walgreen’s in the East Bay/San Francisco area today to register for a “Register Rewards” card. The manager of the store told me that they do not have this program yet but would soon. I never shop there but since it’s on the way for me now I decided to check it out.
Is this true? Are there Walgreen’s that have not implemented the Register Rewards?

I have never heard of a Register Rewards card? Why don’t you check Walgreens.com and type in your zip code to bring up your weekly sales flyer. See if it mentioned Register Rewards deals in the flyer.
I have never heard of any sort of store loyalty card at Walgreens.
There is possibly a points program coming down the pike but that is a long way off.
