Walgreens: Free Lifesaver Jelly Beans

03/12/2012 By MFA 11 Comments

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

Walgreens has the 2.25 oz size of Lifesaver Jellybeans on sale for 2/$1.  The March Walgreens coupon book has a coupon to save $1/2 Lifesaver Easter Items which will work on this item. So, free jellybeans!

Here is how the math looks:

Buy 2 Lifesaver Jellybeans= $1
Use $1/2 Lifesaver Easter Items Walgreens Coupon
Final Cost: Free

These will probably sell out very fast at most stores but hopefully they restock before the coupon expires.

You can see the Walgreens weekly deals here.

thanks, Wild for Wags

This deal worked for me. One coupon got me 108 bags for under $3.

Went to two different stores and grabbed some at each – worked like a charm! I’m putting these in care packages to families with babies in the NICU! 🙂

    The coupon states “Limit 1.”

The coupon states limit 1 coupon. You only need one coupon and it will reduce the price of all of them.

    AJ,

You were probably looking at the large bags. The size that is $.50 is like a small single serving package and it would be with the other $.50 candy on the Easter displays. Usually you can find the single Cadbury eggs, small packs of peeps, single Reese’s Eggs etc…

Didn’t work for me. My cashier said it was only good on the big bags. She tried it and it didn’t do anything. I guess corporate fixed it when they realized people were scoring free candy. 🙁

    Michelle,

I think some people may have abused this a little and I am sure some stores are cracking down now if they even have inventory left…. Usually Walgreens does correct things fairly quickly so it may have been adjusted at Corp level by now too.

Didn’t work for me tonight either. Same as Michelle… I don’t understand how some people don’t have a conscience, I felt bad “trying” to buy 8 (2 per family member)!
