If anyone placed an order with Toys R Us for that great deal they had on Toy Story Operation a few weeks ago, you might have received a cancellation notice on your order.
I ordered 3 games myself for Toys 4 Tots and got the cancellation just a few days ago. I was a little grumpy about that because it took so long for them to notify us of the problem but if you are in the same boat I want to make sure you keep an eye on your email today.
I just got an email from them with the subject line: Important Information Regarding the Cancellation of Your Operation Buzz Lightyear Game. Be sure you don’t delete that because inside is a coupon code for $5 off your next order
If you still have Shoprunner the shipping will be free otherwise you might check and see if you spot a deal that can be picked up in store to save on shipping.
My email does not say when the code expires but I am going to hold onto it for Black Friday shopping and see what I find.

It is a very nice thing of them to do! I’m going to save it for hopefully some good Black Friday online deals.
My order is still listed as being “backordered,” but they did send me an email if it is not fulfilled by 12/09/11 they will automatically cancel it. I wonder why some have already cancelled and others haven’t—hmmm.
Frankie, I got the cancellation yesterday and others got it today.
I did not receive that email. After getting the cancellation email did you email Toys R us to inquire or complain? Just wondering why some received the code and others did not. Thanks!
Tara from the email it sounds like everyone will get it. No I did not complain but I have a lot of emails from them so it would be easy to overlook this one.
