I used coupons at Walgreens on Tuesday. I have to say out of all the places I visited that day(CVS, Save Mart and Safeway) Walreens had my head spinning at the cash register and after. First the cashier said that they were no longer allowing multiple coupns to be used for one item. I had 7 crest toothpaste coupons and along with register rewards was planning on buying 7. She wasn’t very clear if this was just based on this particular store or company wide. Then I wanted to split up my transactions to use my register rewards to lower the price and she kept telling me I could only used one register reward per transaction. It got pretty confusing and I got the feeling like I never want to go back to Walgreens again.

It totally varies by region and store. I love my Walgreens but hate Rite Aid. The managers are what make the difference. Don’t give up, ask for a manager and do several smaller transactions if possible. Good luck.
