Ok this took me about 14 minutes total to do and I did get the gift card so hopefully it works for you as well.
There is a $25 Starbucks Gift Card available right now but you need to have an iPad, iTouch, iPhone etc… to do this. I used my iPhone and it worked perfectly.
- You need to start by downloading the Perfect Cup app for free.
- Then you need to scan 5 images in total.
- Open the app and click experience. Then you want to focus on 5 images in total:
- Scan each of the four images here under “Create an e-card” on the bottom right side. Just hold the phone steady like you are taking a picture and if each image is perfectly centered, your phone will scan the image. The skaters were a problem for me so you can click the box and then look for the arrow on the right that says Step 2 of 5 and get a better image. Just keep pulling the phone out and then putting it closer until it finally likes the image and scans it.
- Once you get those 4, go over here and scroll down to the bag with the purple fox. Get that guy.
- Now you have all 5 and they will ask for your email. I got an email within a few seconds that had a link to redeem the gift card.
You can print it out to redeem in store or transfer it to a gift card you might already have.
This might seem sketchy but I did it and the email I received is definitely from Starbucks!

i just scanned all 5 and it did not ask for my email! i’d love to get a gift card still!
Lisa there should have been a prompt that came up for you. Did you see any message at all once you got the 5th one? And are you certain they all scanned?
I scanned all five also and no prompt asking for my email either =\ when I got the fifth one it just said “you’ve found 5 of 5”.
Same here, I didn’t get anything that asked for my email address.
Same thing for me. All 5 scanned and confirmed but no request for an e-mail. . .
The same thing happened to me… no place to put the email address in- I am sure I got all 5 it says you’ve collected 5 of 5 when I go to the characters tab!
Ok well it must have ended. I am sure it worked for me and I have the email. They probably didn’t have many to offer people.

Thank you for letting me know. Clearly the offer has expired. I have updated the post. You can click on characters and if the top line reads Collect your e-gift, you can still get it. Otherwise the offer ended.
seriously, i reloaded the app and did it again to no avail. maybe this was for a limited amount of people?
darn it! lol..I clicked on comments to see if anyone else could get the boy and dog!! oh well…guess I’ll try to get to sleep…was up, figured I would try this! Darn it!

Just in case anyone wants to keep trying (didn’t work for me, but never know!)….if you can’t get the boy/dog, go to the shop and there is a bag with the boy sledding…that works just fine…yep…finally got all 5…no card….but..hey….kept me occupied instead of tossing and turning in bed! I’m actually tired now! Good night!
