My SmartSource for today (11/6) has a coupon for $1 off any Johnson and Johnson Red Cross item. Just a reminder that the travel size First Aid kits can be found at Target, Walmart, CVS etc.. for about $.97- so free after coupon. These are really handy to have in the car, in backpacks, and for donations.
Also just a reminder that the Cars 2 rebate for Johnson and Johnson should include these kits which are Red Cross items. ย So if you have enough coupons to buy 11 of them at $.97, use today’s coupon or use $1.50/2 Johnson & Johnson Red Cross Brand Product, exp. 11/30/11 (RP 07/31/11 #2 R) and you should get a great deal!

What does the coupon look like so I can see if I have it. Plzzz Help Me
Brittani, the coupon should be easy to find if you got it. It says Johnson and Johnson and then pictures the Cars rebate on half a sheet of paper in the insert. It would be very hard to miss if you did get it.
I didn’t get it. ๐
Bummer, I grabbed 2 different papers from my area and none of the inserts had this coupon. (Vancouver, WA)
I bought 3 of the first aid kits from my target and they were priced at .97. I had to pay .23. The manager said .03 per item because Target doesn’t return the change. ( So I payed the difference on a coupon?? The balance was tax?.Is this normal?
No Megan. The policy is that you pay tax only and the coupon is adjusted down to be valued at .97. So I guess you didn’t get cheated if they applied the entire $1 but that is a weird way to do it.
They applied 1.00 and 1.00 then .91, total before coupons was 3.14 then after the coupons were applied at above rate I had to pay.23 Weird
Im having the problem of what they deliver is different then what is in the stands right down the street. With my home delivery feel that Im getting cheaped out of coupons almost every week. I get the Sac Bee!!
I went to walmart today and got 3 of the First aid kits and Pepcid AC 8 ct ($4.38 minus $4 coupon from 11/6) for a total of .73. 44 cents of that was tax.
Ha- I have to post that Pepcid thing. I didn’t know people were so excited about that medication ๐
@Megan: I don’t know where you live but if the tax where you live is 7.75%, your transaction would be:
$2.91 (for the 3 first aid kits 0.97 x 3)
0.23 tax (7.75% of $2.91)
$3.14 total
2.91 (less your 3 coupons 1 + 1 + 0.91)
$0.23 final amount you paid
They can’t deduct $3 for coupons because the total value of your purchase (before tax) was only $2.91. They had to reduce the amount of your third coupon from $1 to $0.91.
