Here is a good deal coming up at CVS next week. Apparently no one told CVS there is supposed to be a crazy peanut butter price hike because they have a great deal.
Jif Peanut Butter or Smuckers Jam 2/$5
Get $3 ECB (limit 1)
Use $1/2 Smuckers from 11/6 RP
Final Price: $.50!
So get the peanut butter for $1.00 or get the jam for $.50!
Stay tuned because I will have the Shop for Free list for the week up in a bit.
If you did the Aveeno moneymaker this week, this would be a great way to roll those ECBs!
Danielle says
woo hoo! ๐ Awesome deal! and the nice thing about CVS is they will give a RC with the ECB’s if they are cleaned out…thanks!!!
Kathy says
this $1/2 coupon coming out this Sunday? Is the coupon regional? WOW is all I can say, hope it works out for me!! Made out great today at CVS, and have the $4 EB from the Aveeno deal too!
Charlene says
Kathy, the only information I have is what is posted. I am sure the value will be regional but the CVS ad mentioned a coupon coming so most likely everyone will get some coupon. I think I got .35 last time around for Smuckers.
Kathy says
THanks Charlene. So, just to be clear, can use the Smuckers coupon on Jif?
Janet says
I don’t see how I could use a Smuckers coupon towards peanut butter.
Sara says
I thought the 3/$5 deal on Jiff this week was good. Guess I’ll be stocking up some more next week!
Charlene says
Sara, CVS will let you preview the ad on Thursdays I think it is. You might just double check for sure this is available in your city. It should be nationwide but you never know.
Charlene says
Hey Janet- I think you might check the post again. I didn’t mention using a Smuckers coupon on peanut butter. I just said two deals are available depending on which product you need. The peanut butter does not have any coupons.
Charlene says
Kathy, no. There are two items and you may choose the one you want under the same ECB. Here is what the post says:
Jif Peanut Butter or Smuckers Jam 2/$5
Get $3 ECB (limit 1)
Use $1/2 Smuckers from 11/6 RP
Final Price: $.50! <—– that is the price only if you intend to buy Smuckers.
If you do not intend to buy Smuckers the price is $1.00 because you won't be using any coupons.
Here is what I said:
“So get the peanut butter for $1.00 or get the jam for $.50!”
So you just pick what you want. I thoughT the Jif was a better deal but really either one depending on what you need.
Janet says
Oh, got it! Thanks.
Janet says
I think my brain is the consistency of peanut butter today.
Charlene says
Happens to me every day Janet. I blame the kids screaming in my ear right now and the dog that won’t get out from under my feet.
Maria White says
Too bad that the limit is 1 ๐
Kathy says
janet, you and me both!! Too much juggling of the schedule!! And Thank you Charlene for helping me out!! Having too many “brain farts” today!!
Tara says
I have a question! Lol I have a $1 off jif that I got from frys but it says manufacturer coupon. Can I use that at other stores? Or just for frys? Thanks!
Court says
I just price checked the Jiff at my Target in SoCal to see how good of a deal it is. Looks awesome! Target has Jiff priced at 7.29 for 40 oz. and 18 oz. for $3.74. It looks in the ad like the CVS deal is for the 18 oz.
Angela says
Can we price match that at Walmart? I also got a raincheck for my price to be 3/$5
Charlene says
Angela the price match would be to $2.50.
Emperatriz says
I checked SS and RP on Sunday’s newspaper, and I couldn’t find a coupon for Jif peanut butter coupon.
Charlene says
I think you misunderstood the post. There is no coupon anywhere for Jif. There are two deals- either Jif or Smuckers. If you want Jif you will not use any coupons at all. If you want Smuckers, that was the coupon I listed.
