Walgreens: Cottonelle TP $1.75/pack

There is a pretty good deal on TP starting today at Walgreens. I believe this is single ply stuff and it will have a huge $5 printed on the upper right corner of the package.

You can get a 12pk of Cottonelle TP for $5.00
Use the $.50/1 Cottonelle Coupon
or Use the $.75/1 from 9/11 SS
Plus you can stack it with $1/1 Cottonelle Toilet Paper, exp. 10/22/11 (Walgreens, Oct)

And the following Register Reward is also printing:

Buy 3 packs of TP and get a $4 Register Reward
or Buy 2 packs of TP and get a $3 Register Reward

Now the very, very important note here is that you need to purchase the purple Cottonelle Ultra TP or the Register Reward most likely won’t print. So don’t forget. Purple not blue.

Here is how the deal works out:

Buy 3 packs of Cottonelle Ultra TP $5.00
Use (3) $.75/1 Cottonelle coupons from 9/11 SS (the value is regional)
and Use $1/1 Cottonelle Toilet Paper, exp. 10/22/11 (Walgreens, Oct) – this will take off $1 for each pack you buy
Pay $9.75 and get back a $4 Register Reward
Net price is $1.91 per pack

OR Buy 2 packs at $5.00
use (2) $.75/1 coupons from 9/11 SS
and Use $1/1 Cottonelle Toilet Paper, exp. 10/22/11 (Walgreens, Oct) – this will take off $1 per pack you buy
Pay $6.50 and get back $3.00
Net Price: $1.75 each

The normal price for this TP is $5 and that Register Reward is supposed to be working through 10/30. Walgreens usually shuts down deals that are really, really good pretty early though so it is best to shop early.

This is not an advertised promotion so if for some reason, you don’t get the RR you can contact catalina marketing or you can return the items for a refund.

Stay tuned because next week’s Walgreens deals will be posted soon!

Thanks for specifying the ultra..even though its a smaller amount, still a reasonable deal. I went in today and bought the blue package; the RR didn’t print, they had no idea what I was talking about and refunded my money. Will try tomorrow.

Just got back and the deal worked perfectly!

It is even a better deal in Buffalo, NY. We had $1/1 coupons so I picked up 2 packs and the total after the RR was $1.50 a pack! Although it runs out much faster than other toilet paper it’s a good price!

Thanks for the heads up on this one, Charlene. You’re the best, and I love your site. I have been on a hunt for several weeks now for a good TP deal. I’m in Houston and will try tomorrow. I’ll let you all know how it works out.

Will I need a filler item if I’m purchasing 2 packs of TP, using 2 mfr cpns and 1 Wags cpn? Thanks.

Sana, you should be fine with that- no filler. I suggest giving the Walgreens coupon last.

I love your method of determining if TP is a good deal or not. These packages have about 150 square feet in them, so not the greatest price after all!

That is what I thought too Jessica so I wasn’t that interested in this one but everyone else certainly is and we haven’t seen a deal in awhile ๐Ÿ˜‰

It took a lot of effort, but I got the deal done. First, my Walgreen’s was out of Cottonelle toilet paper. However, later on my trip I found a box in the aisle with three packages, which I took. Second, my cashier refused to take more than one of the coupons from the Walgreen’s coupon books per transaction. However, he finally got a supervisor and she over-rode the system. Third, the system refused to give me credit for the $1 coupon from the 9/11 Smart Source. However, I showed her that the coupon said any Cottonelle 12 pack, so she over-rode again and it took. I bought four ACTII popcorn as fillers at 25 cents each so my coupons didn’t outnumber my items. I used a $6 Register Reward and paid $4.19, but got a $4 Register Reward. Allocating $1 to the ACTII coupons, I paid a net $5.19 for three 12 packs, about $1.73 per 12 pack, which works out to 14.5 cents per roll. Thanks Charlene, for pointing out this great toilet paper deal I will think of you every time I…on second thought, scratch that.

Walter, I am horrified and yet amused all at once. All that trouble but now you can rest assured that you are indeed a King on his throne.

The $0.50/1 printable coupon says one per purchase, the second coupon beeped. I got the RR and paid $8 OOP.

it is 2 ply… so i will have to warn my kids to not use so much when we switch from the blue tp to the purple tp =)

Tried this today and it didn’t work for me. I bought 3 purple 12 pks and no RR. ~$3 for Cottonelle isn’t so bad though, so I’m not too upset.

Amy, usually with really good deals at Walgreens they will stop the Register Rewards fairly quickly. It is always best to shop early or you take your chances that the promotion has ended.

I just did this deal tonight at my local Wags….Had tons in stock, I need to go back and get some more…I have no TP in stockpile at all…and this is a great price I think to stock up on.
