Beware! The Qtips are not triggering the gift card at the register. I had to go back and get the sign off the display to convince that that I had indeed purchased the correct item. The manager ended up giving me $5 off my transaction instead of the giftcard, which was fine. Watch the register carefully!!
You know how some coupons say “available at walmart,” does it mean I can only use it at walmart or can I use it at other stores?
So I just went to my local target to do the Vaseline lotion deal (Buy 2 get a $5 gift card)….
They were priced at 4.99 each
I had a $2/2 Unilever coupon and a $1/1 Target coupon peelie on the product… (Making them 50 cents each after coupons and gift card)… and the register did not recognize the deal! After telling the cashier that they had it advertised… he told me there was nothing he could do and a gift card was not triggered….
off to the next target to try the deal……
Ashley, just go to customer service. They have to honor it. If they refuse, call from a red phone in store and talk to corporate.
My q-tip one didn’t trigger, so they just did a $5 discount off my total 🙂 Cashiers make such a difference!

There were $1.50/1 peelies on several of the q-tip packages at my store. Those along with the $1/1 Target made this a $1.24 Money Maker for me 🙂
The register did not automatically trigger the $5 gift card, but apparently management was already aware of the problem & just deducted $5 from my total.
Annie, as long as the coupon says “manufacturer’s coupon” on it it can be redeemed anywhere. Walmart just hopes you’ll use it at their store.
Since the smaller size has a $5 Gift Card deal can you buy 2 larger sized and 2 smaller sized, then use 10/2 RP to get the smaller 2 free but still get the $5 Gift Card on the smaller sized as well as the larger sized? Meaning getting 2 gift cards totaling $10 for the 4 items after paying 9.98 OOP?
No Jenna, the smaller size is Buy 4 Get a $5 GC and the larger is buy 2 get a $5 gift card. So if you did the scenario above you would only get a gift card for the large ones. Does that make sense?
I did this deal yesterday and am going back tomorrow to do it again. I got 2 of the 20oz (which both had an extra 13oz packaged in) 2 of the 13oz and 2 suave lotions. After suave lotion coupon and b1g1f it was 15 and change. I got back 2 – 5.00 giftcards. 8 lotions for $5 and change. There was a lot of the packahed bonus lotion left so I’m hoping it will be there tomorrow! We go through a ton of lotion in the winter so stocking up now!

I can’t find the q-tip coupon on recyclebank, they must have pulled it.

Can we also use 1 $.75/1 Dove hair coupon w/the Dove bogo coupon?
No the coupon policy doesn’t allow for that which is why I didn’t put that in the scenario . Just one or the other.
