Olay Gift Packs (Back in Stock!) $10 plus $10 Mail in Rebate

10/21/2011

I posted this a few times and they ran out of stock.  Just an FYI they are available again if you are interested!

Walmart.com offers these Olay gift packs for $9.00-$10.00. You will also get a free subscription to Allure magazine with your purchase.

Now you have a choice of filling out the form for the free subscription OR you can decline the subscription and get a refund of the magazine value- which is $9.99.

That means you pay $13 and basically get a $10 rebate back.

So you’ll have to actually order one of these sets and once it arrives, open it up and look for a redemption number inside the box.  Then go over to the Olay rebate form here and follow the directions.

*Note:  I have posted previously and heard from a bunch of people that had no issues with the rebate and some people that say it did not come. You can read feedback from other readers on the post here and the post here .  You only have 30 days from the time of receipt to send in your rebate so do not forget about it!

Just placed the order! It was $9, and for some reason they offered me free shipping. This will be a great Christmas gift. Thanks for posting!

Charlene – do you know if these are available to purchase in the stores, or is it an on-line only thing?

Charlene October 21, 2011 at 8:02 PM

Sam, I know last year people found them but I just checked my store again a few days ago and they were not there. I think maybe closer to the holidays? Apparently this has free shipping though so might be worth just ordering.

I ordered this when you posted it on Oct 8th. I already got my $9.99 refund check back from Allure today! Awesome! Pville Sam, I did find these in stores last Christmas (and you can probably use an Olay coupon on it) but I noticed the Allure deal expires in Dec. I’m wondering if I can do the deal again?? I LOVE these for teachers gifts!

I received my gift pack today and tried to do the rebate but the site says it is no longer available. I can’t even get the magazine subscription. I bet these were left-overs from last year because my pack has a date of 2010 on it. I can’t take it back to Walmart because I had to tear it apart to get the refund paper out. What do you suggest I do?

Charlene October 25, 2011 at 8:55 PM

Kathy, I would make a stink if Walmart won’t take it back. The pack is obviously a year old and the offer that is advertised has expired. You should be fine to return it.

I just got the basket today but didn’t see any card in the box. Do I need to tear the basket apart to get it?

Charlene October 29, 2011 at 10:29 AM

Angelina, I believe it is a little postcard or perhaps some small samples or something and you get a little code with it.
