i was at Walgreen last week with printable coupons an they told me they don’t take printable coupons, is this true?

No Jean that is not true. Your store might have had some serious fraud issues or something. You can see the coupon policy at the top of the page. It does not say that anywhere.

I used print off coupons today I got like 200 $ of stuff for 35 bucks. not to shabby when its part of my xmas shopping, and also household items I needed. My walgreens was out of alot of stuff so I went to the one across town.. did two stores got all my RR and did a huge shopping trip. There are some cashiers who are nicer than others.. That may be an issue there. I have had that in past

I do not have a problem with printable coupons at my Walgreens but I must say that I no longer go there anymore, every Sunday I am there first thing and they never have the “free” deals on stock, never! I believe that they pull them out of the shelf and claim that they did not received them. Now I travel to another location. Has anyone had this problem?

What does “less coupon in store mean”? I am new to Walgreen’s couponing, and I see this statement in place of a lot of coupons that you have listed here. Thank you!

Ashley, you just want to grab the free coupon booklets they offer at the front of the store and use that. An employee can help you find it.

For the Ricola deal, can I use the Oct. Wags coupon, the tear out coupon in the Wags circular and the buy one get one free coupon in SS without buying fillers? Thanks in advance for the help!!!

Shelly you should be able to but I would suggest doing this order and see what happens:

    1. Manufacturer
    2. In ad
    3. Coupon book

It depends about stock availability at all 3 drug stores. In my area, I find that Rite Aid never seems to have items on sale in stock. CVS is hit or miss but at least you can get a raincheck. Walgreens is somewhat better but they ran out of Wisk and Snuggle early last week and CVS was out of Hershey Air candybar-they are always out-and had 1 Softsoap foaming hand soap left by the time I got there.

We have one Walgreen where the management used to pull “free” sale items off of the shelves to avoid selling them. However, I explained to one of the managers (a HS friend) how they were earning (not losing) money each time I bought one of these items. The items have started appearing again.

I bought 6 Nature Valley granola bars and a $3 RR printed out!
I used $1/2 Walgreens Nature Valley Coupon
and $1/2 Nature Valley granola bars from deal-icious savings book I
    found at Lucky’s
    paid $6 – got $3 RR – $.50 each!

The walgreens coupon for robitussin doesn’t work because its for the 8oz size. The ones on sale, with the RR, are the 4oz ones. So that really isn’t that great of a deal. Spend $16 (if you have all 4 coupons…I could only get 2 because most of your links didn’t work), get a $5 register reward. So at best you spend $11 for 4 robitussin, making them $2.75 each. Not a bad price, but not as good as $1.75 each!!

    charlene,
The Walgreens ad has the Tampax Compak Pearl tampons on sale for buy one get one 50% off. Last Sunday’s P&G coupon flyer has a coupon for bogo free. How would that math work? Thanks! Jill

Save a Lot has Chex Mix $10 for 10 bags. Use your 75 cent off coupons from Sunday paper.

I went to Walgreens yesterday and it was a huge disaster. Maybe somebody can help me understand the problem.

I got 2 packs of Cottonelle, 1 box Kleenex cold touch tissues, Cepacol losengers and the Clairol hair color foam along with some other items on sale I had coupons for. I did not use any previous register rewards to pay for my transaction. The only register reward that printed was the $0.50 for the Kleenex.

Also I got the Gilette deodorant that was buy one get one half off and they all were the normal price–no discount at all even though the register tape said BGLP beside the price.

    What happened here?

Michelle, did you buy that all in one transaction and did you buy the purple cottonelle or the blue?
