Safeway Deals 9/7-9/13

09/06/2011

Share

You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!Be sure to read about the new Just for U program rolling out at Safeway!

…Click Below to See the Complete List of Safeway Deals….

This week there is a snack and cereal Buy 5, Get $5 off Sale. No prices are listed in the ad so I will update as soon as I can with the prices I find in store.

have you seen the Capri Sun deal in a while? Last yr they were $1 a box a few times and i have been waiting and nothing.. :-(

Charlene September 6, 2011 at 7:45 PM

Really? I don’t remember seeing them for $1 a box. Maybe they were with a limit 1? I’d say this $5 for 4 boxes is pretty darn good.

jenny thomas September 6, 2011 at 8:49 PM

I also don’t think the capri sun went a dollar a box. The closest and stock up price would be 1.50 and if it is cheaper than better. I always try to beat Costcos prices. I thin they sell there’s at 6 something for a 40 pack ( which is four boxes). So this is a really good prices.

Nicole September 6, 2011 at 9:58 PM

Cecilia, I remember getting them for $1 per box at Safeway last year. I remember because my co-worker and I went and stocked up. I think it was an overlapping deal that only lasted a few days.

Alice September 6, 2011 at 10:30 PM

I don’t think the Signature Cafe Family Size Pizza for $5 on Fridays can be used with the 5 off 15 frozen foods coupon. It’s not a frozen food item

Charlene September 6, 2011 at 10:40 PM

Oh Alice you are right. That was kind of dumb of me :)

If you have the coupon booklet from Safeway with the $1/1 Eggos Muffin Tops and $5/$15 Frozen Foods Purchase you can use those to get Eggos Muffin Tops for $.75 a box. Buy 8 boxes of Eggos Muffin Tops, Use both Safeway Coupons (the $1/1 Safeway Q is limit 1 per transaction), Use 4 $1/2 Eggos Product. Pay $6 OOP for 8 boxes making them $.75 each.

Cecilia,I remember that deal also, you had to buy a min amount to get the deal. I think it was a a little later than September right around the time they were having awwesome deals with fruit snacks and granola bars (overlapping Catalina and sales deals and of course coupons. I’m also waiting cause soccer season has started and they are very handy to have around when it’s our turn to bring snacks!

Lindsey September 7, 2011 at 7:44 AM

Is anyone going to use their Tortilla Stuffers coupon yet? It is good until 10/1. I am tempted to try them but I feel like a better deal might be around the corner.

Sometimes couponing feels like poker!

Angela September 7, 2011 at 9:32 AM

Unfortunately the Wonderful Pistachios coupon is 1/2. Can’t even find any 1/1′s on ebay. :(

Kristina September 7, 2011 at 1:34 PM

My Safeway only had the ten count of Fiber One bars on sale, which isn’t as good of a deal. Also, I bought four Dole 4 packs of fruit, and got a coupon for .75 OYNSO. I wasn’t aware of a catalina running but hey, every little bit helps, right?

Denise September 7, 2011 at 2:43 PM

There are two catalina offers running that pertain to this week’s ad:

Jello – Buy any refrigerated Jell-O snacks – Buy 3 get $2.00, Buy 4 get $3.00, Buy 5 get $4.00 (9/5 – 10/2)

Lysol – Buy 1 get $1.00, Buy 2 or more get $2.00 (9/2 – 9/11)

I received both of these notices at Bay Area, CA Safeway.

Cecilia September 7, 2011 at 3:33 PM

Thank you ladies, i knew i was not going crazy. You are right it was right as soccer started.. We just ran out from that deal last yr so hopefully it will be back again. It was not a limit 1..i know that.. thanks for you help.

Kimberly September 8, 2011 at 10:06 PM

I purchased 5 boxes of Kashi bars yesterday- I was able to use 3/$2.00 off 1 box (recyclebank) and 1 $1.50 off 2 boxes -so I paid $6.25 for 5 boxes!

Lori September 9, 2011 at 7:02 AM

At my Safeway, I see the Mount Olive pickles are still $1.49 when you buy 4. The tag says the price is good through next Tuesday. I just bought some $0.75/1 coupons on eBay, and my store doubles. Hope they get here in time! We go through a lot of pickles.

Jolene September 9, 2011 at 9:45 AM

In the freezer coupon book there is s coupon for $1/1 for the pillsbury breakfast scrambles. So the mf coupon it makes them $.50 great deal
