Safeway MDA coupon book has a coupon for $1.50/1 any Infusium23 or Pert purchase, exp. 9/04/11.

Sylvia August 13, 2011 at 1:32 PM

Now, if only the Walgreens stores near me would have the sale items in stock. They are always out of the good deals, no matter what day of the week I come by. I will need to find a Walgreens in Sac that is not frequented by couponers, lol. All I need is 1 or 2 of some item and I can’t even find it!

Virginia August 13, 2011 at 1:55 PM

What’s with the color? It is difficult to read and I find it annoying.

Charlene August 13, 2011 at 2:05 PM

Virginia, I am sorry you find this post annoying. I am not sure which color you are referring to. The text is all black type and then the links are in navy blue. I don’t see any other colors.

Angela August 13, 2011 at 4:13 PM

The text is turqoise for me, not black, but I like it! It’s cheery! :)
I’m with Sylvia. I feel like walgreens intentionally doens’t stock things and their rainchecks don’t go with RR. CVS is much better with the rain checks at least!

Tim August 13, 2011 at 4:28 PM

Yeah, i see crazy colors too.
Also, the pampers deal seems confusing.
Oh well, love the site, count on you each week.
Thanks.

Robin August 13, 2011 at 5:22 PM

Thanks for the post, Charlene. I am a bit nervous about using the BOGO coupon… has anyone used a BOGO coupon on a BOGO deal at Walgreens in the past and been successful? I always get a little nervous before a buy at Walgreens… lol

Kimberly August 13, 2011 at 6:44 PM

Wow Virginia, take a pill! You go Charlene, thanks for all you do!!!

Charlene August 13, 2011 at 8:41 PM

Ok I can see now in IE and FF. I use Chrome and it looks fine in Chrome. Obviously I wouldn’t have intentionally made the post look crazy, there was HTML code taht shouldn’t have been touching the list when I inserted it and that made it all look crazy. I think it will be normal now.

Tim, it should be $4.50 a pack. They are $10 each. Use the $2/1 Pampers manufacturer coupon= $8. Use the $2 off Walgreens coupon (if you have it)- one single coupon takes $2 off each pack= $6.00. Get $3 RR back on 2 packs so $1.50 per pack would make the final price $4.50 after coupons and RR. Make sense?

Rachelle August 14, 2011 at 5:36 AM

Trying to figure out how the Expo markers are free? If you buy 2 @ 3.99 = 7.98. Use the $2/2 MQ= 5.98, the the $3 walgreens is 2.98. Please help if I’m missing something.

Debbie August 14, 2011 at 8:22 AM

are there different ss ads in todays paper, i dont have the pert plus, revlon, or sure deo. coupons,
thanks

Charlene August 14, 2011 at 8:33 AM

Yes Debbie there are differences. I have all those coupons in mine. You can read more here:

http://myfrugaladventures.com/2010/01/reader-question-differences-in-newspaper-insert-coupons/

Charlene August 14, 2011 at 8:33 AM

Rachelle, the Walgreens coupon will deduct $3 for each package purchased.

Julie August 14, 2011 at 11:03 AM

How can you use the Speed Stick coupon – doesn’t it expire 8/13?

Rachelle August 14, 2011 at 5:12 PM

Thanks Charlene:)

Danielle August 14, 2011 at 6:51 PM

On the cottonelle toilet paper, what 2 walgreens coupons can you use plus a MF coupon?

Charlene August 14, 2011 at 8:27 PM

Julie- just an error. Just point out any errors you see and I can correct them.

Danielle, you will use $1 Walgreens coupon and you will use $.75 manufacturer coupon only. The total after both coupons is $3.25.

clippingfun August 14, 2011 at 9:33 PM

on the dove deal— i am going to use 2 b1g1 coupons, but i also have 1 off mens deo– Is there anyway of using that one also??

Zua August 15, 2011 at 12:46 AM

The Stayfree deal isnt really 2 free. They were priced at my store for $7.29, and the BOGO coupon had a maximum value of $4.49 so you had to pay at most an extra $3.

Julie August 15, 2011 at 5:52 AM

Thanks, Charlene! I thought maybe it was a ‘trick of the trade’ that I wasn’t aware of yet :) . I love your blog!

Heather V. August 15, 2011 at 5:53 AM

Is anyone having trouble with the BOGO Dove coupons? I’ve tried buying 4 items, with 2 BOGO coupons. I have tried a couple of Walgreens but they keep insisting they are told to enter $4.49 and $1.53 as the values of the two free items (only $6.02 total instead of $7.50 off) since that is the order of the register tape. The managers have not been very helpful in resolving. Any advice?

Charlene August 15, 2011 at 8:14 AM

Wow $7 for Stayfree! That is outrageous.

Danielle August 15, 2011 at 10:26 AM

Can you give me the infant care code for the pampers? I think you gave it to me before, but I misplaced it! thanks!

Heather V. August 15, 2011 at 1:44 PM

Not sure if you have seen this, but my Walgreens is carrying the Men + Care deodorant in double packs (BOGO). I just got 2 Dove Ultimate (women’s) and 2 Dove Men + Care (double packs) for the 4/$15 – so a total of 6 deodorants making them $0.42 ea when I used 2 BOGO coupons. Yea!

Nat August 15, 2011 at 2:56 PM

My Walgreens isnt accepting the Revlon MFC coupon, saying its not scanning and she refused to push it through. She only accepted the WAGS coupon, so I paid .99 cents. Just wondering if anyone else had problems with that coupon? Also my Wags had the Dove body wash at full price, not 3.75…bummer! But Im heading back to try with the mens body wash today, hope that works.

Charlene August 15, 2011 at 6:06 PM

Nat- I saw a lady use that coupon in front of me and hers beeped too but the stupid thing pictures nail polish so your cashier shouldn’t have been such a stinker :( I don’t think there is much you can do except you could try to get a manager over to help.

Michelle August 15, 2011 at 6:11 PM

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I went to Walgreens this morning. I spent $36 and saved $60 along with getting $18 in register rewards. I loved getting 32 and 36 Stayfree pads (4 packs) for FREE. Awesome!

Ally August 15, 2011 at 7:15 PM

I haven’t couponed in 2 years! yikes! We moved and there is nowhere that doubles coupons here! We do have a wags but they just put out a 2 page ad. I went there this week because i wanted to get the free markers but they turned out to be on sale for $7.49 not $3.99. I was bummed and asked the manager and he told me that if I can bring in the walgreens ad from somewhere else I can use it. I went and bought a Green Bay paper and went back 20 min later to get 8 free packs of markers, 2 packs of the omega vitamins, 9 packs of huggies wipes and 2 packs of huggies diapers! woo hoo!

I thought my Wags was the worst now I know it’s the best because I’m the only one bringing in the other paper and getting the good deals! woo hoo!! They let me just give them the codes too! AND if my coupons don’t scan they just punched them in.
My new fav. place to be!

Tim August 16, 2011 at 11:44 AM

Just tried to get the expo markers for free. The coupon that takes $3 off per expo package says “manufacturers coupon” on it in fine print even though it’s in a walgreens booklet. They won’t take $2 off 2 packages when they’ve already taken the $3 x 2 off. They can’t combine 2 manufacturers coupons. Am I missing something?
Thanks

Charlene August 16, 2011 at 12:08 PM

Tim, the coupon in the Walgreens coupon booklet is a store coupon. You would not be able to use that coupon at any other store besides Walgreens. Check the ad for a Cottonelle and a Lysol deal where they very clearly show using a store coupon from that exact coupon booklet in conjunction with a manufacturer coupon and you will see that the transaction is actually correct and does follow the coupon policy. You want to give that $3 coupon last.

Whitney Mills August 16, 2011 at 8:04 PM

Was so very dissapointed with the B1G1 stayfree deal. My wags had signs posted “6.49 and up only”….so the deal was most DEF not free! Im going to call the Wags in the next town over to see what their signage says, but they usually have TERRIBLE customer service at both the Wags in my area.

shelli August 16, 2011 at 9:10 PM

I have been told by even the easy going wags that their policy states they have to take the wags coupons first. Has anyone else had trouble with this?
I always see you type to give it last and my store says they were told by corporate to always take the wags first.
Also i think i see some typos, but i’m tired so …. it could just be my brain.
On the oral b, crest, scope it says they are $3 and you get a $3 reward but that you pay .75 cents after coupons listed.

Also, I am very very sorry but I have alot of computer issues. In fact I am from Happyhomemakercindy’s site but I just can’t open her site anymore after some changes she made. So I have been at this since 10am all day and am not even close to done.

but I believe on CVS or Rite aid there was somethng listed at $3 wiht a $5 reward and the final price didn’t make sense based on that. I’m really sorry I can’t remember but maybe you can glance over it and find it.
Loved the side note on candy corn :)
and I wish i had those twizzler coupons.
But more i wish i had a computer so I can go home and be done with this couponing.. :(

Charlene August 16, 2011 at 9:27 PM

There is nothing in the Walgreens policy that says what order they need to accept coupons.

I successfully used the $1.50 Pert Q that Yelena mentions in the 1st Comment. So it was a $.51 moneymaker. $3.99-$1.50 Q and $3 RR printed. The bottle is larger than I expected, and the dandruff control variety is included in this deal.
