Walgreens: Colgate and Degree Moneymakers

Here are two new deals for Walgreens shoppers:

Colgate Total Advanced is on sale for $3.00
Buy 2 and get a $3 Register Reward back
Use (2) $1.50/1 Colgate coupons
Pay $3.00 and get a $4 RR!

Also, as of right now you can get an unadvertised deal on Degree deodorant. ย I don’t know how long this will last so hopefully you have good luck:

Buy 4 Degree travel sized deodorant at .99 each
Use (4) $1/1 from 7/31 RP (value of coupon varies by region)
Final Price: FREE plus you should get a $4 Register Reward back!

Keep in mind the way the Walgreens registers work is that the last coupon you give will most likely beep. According to the Walgreens coupon policy, they should just adjust it down but some stores are stinky about doing it. You might pay $.96 and get the $4 RR so still a fantastic deal.

I believe this one runs through 8/22 but there is a good chance Walgreens will catch this and remove the travel size from the RR offer.

See more Walgreens deals for the week here.

Thanks Wild for Wags!

    Hi
I could not find the colgate coupon. Do you think they removed it already?

Worked for me! The biggest issue I am having is when I am using a $1 coupon on an item that costs $.99. The cashier usually tells me that they can’t use it if the item is less than the coupon. I just told the casier what you suggested about adjusting the last coupon down and she did it without fighting me on it, thankfully. Thanks for the tips!

Both worked for me – got 3 sample Degree, 1 full size Degree, 2 Colgate, and a 24 pack of crayons. Used 2 $1.50 Colgate coupons, 2 $1 Degree coupons. Total $8.53 – and $9 in Catalinas printed — woo hoo!

I have been unable to locate the Degree coupon in the 7/31 RP. I get the Modesto and Fresno Bee?? What paper did you find it in?

    thanks a lot !
    worked for me
the only problem I had it says ‘premium’ on coupon and doesnt say it on deodorant. But I told cashier that I already done this trans once – ha!.

Tala, the premium coupon won’t work for this deal. My insert had one premium coupon and one any Degree coupon so the one that says any Degree is the one you use.

Jaime, many people get more than one newspaper each week so you just need to adjust the scenario according to how many coupons you have.

Kasey it was in the Sacramento Bee.

Do you think the Colgate Total toothpaste coupons in the Walgreens Diabetes & you would work for this deal?

i work at walgreens and if you’re not sure if a walgreens coupon will work for a certain product, you can have the cashier try it. but walgreens coupons aren’t as lenient as manufacturer coupons. also, it depends on the cashier you end up getting. see i don’t mind if someone has a coupon that’s not specific to the product they get as long as it scans and accepts it. for example, if you buy l’oreal make-up and use a l’oreal hair color coupon, it will scan ok. but again, it depends on the cashier. some of them at my work are just grumpy and won’t care if it does scan. also, try getting rung up in cosmetics. corporate is so desperate for cosmetic sales, the beauty advisers most likely won’t care as long as their sales numbers go up.

Tried the trail size Degree tonight and it is still printing the $4RR, also if you didnt get the Colgate coupons, you can use the $1.00 coupon in the free Walgreens Diabetes & you magazine located in store ๐Ÿ™‚

They haven’t removed the travel size degree from the RR program yet. I just did it tonight. Bought 4 travel size Degrees, used the 2 coupons from the Sacramento Bee, paid $3.50-something and a $4 RR printed out for me.
