I listed this in the weekly matchups but it turns out these are actually Buy 10, Get 2 Free in store. Reader Raeme mentioned this on the Safeway deals this week and I checked it out and found exactly what she said! There was also an Oreo cookie version of these snacks for the same price.

It looks like the $1/2 Ritz Crackers or Ritz Bitz, exp. 9-5-11 (SS 5/15/11) coupon will NOT work for this as it has a size limitation of 9.5-16 oz. The Handi-snacks are only 5.7 oz.
It will work on the Nabisco Ritz tray packs to combine with the store coupon though!
Oops! No store coupon for the tray packs~ just the 4 day sale through Monday! Sorry! So $2.99 each instead of $6.49 each.
Ok if you have the coupon in front of you and you are sure? I don’t have it and the database doesn’t list any size exclusions.
FYI – The Nabisco Cookies or Crackers coupon from the 8/07/11SS beeped at my Safeway in NorCal when I used it yesterday on the Handi-Snacks. The clerk tried to tell me it was because I was purchasing Kraft Crackers and the coupon was for Nabisco Crackers. She manually entered it when I turned the box over and politely pointed to the Nabisco logo on the bottom of the box next to the UPC. 🙂
I saw the oreo ones and almost bought them since oreos are nabisco brand but the boxes said kraft on them so I didn’t want to deal with that at the register-they do however have regular size boxes of Cheeze It’s for 99 cents which works perfectly with the 75/2 coupon.
What a stupid thing. I think without any coupons at .82 these are still a good deal though. But good to note the Nabisco is on the back.
havn’t pulled the coupon yet but if it doubles a really good deal because for the 10 you pay for it would only be 1.00 for all ten because i live in a doubling area. Lets hope it is.
The $0.99 price on these is even if you just buy one. You are required to buy 10 only if you want those 2 extras for free. So if you don’t want to buy that many or don’t have that many coupons, you can just forget about getting the 2 free boxes and buy in multiples of 2, making them $0.50 each.
