I was told the other day at my Walgreens that the policy had changed and that coupons in the monthly booklets were considered to be manufacturer’s coupons and that I couldn’t stack them with ones I had cut out from the Sunday mailings – is this true? I went ahead with it b/c I didn’t know what the direct policy from WAGS stated – any advice?

My advice is what no one ever wants to hear which is stop shopping at Walgreens. The coupon policy says you can use one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon. It is outrageous to me to say that a coupon that can only be used at Walgreens is a manufacturer coupon. I think these stores make up policies because they want to be difficult. You can try complaining to corporate and all that but I have personally found it to be a total and complete waste of time.

Sorry I don’t have any magic solution. Walgreens has been a massive pain for years and years about coupons and I personally stopped shopping there a long time ago. Just too much hassle for me. :(
