Walgreens: 2 Free Milka Chocolate Bars

07/15/2011

Well honestly this is a little piece of heaven in my opinion. Not only do you get free chocolate but you get good free chocolate and the transaction should be easy peasy for most people to do.

Starting Sunday 17th, Walgreens has Milka Chocolate Bars for $1.50
Use the $1/2 coupon from the Walgreens coupon book
and Use (2) $1/1 Milka Coupons
Your final price will be a big fat zero!

I would suggest giving the manufacturer coupons first and you just need one of the Walgreens coupons and it will take off .50 per bar.

You can see the Shop for Free list for the drugstores starting Sunday here.

PS:  I am guessing most Walgreens stores will run out of Milka bars.  You can always do a price match at Target or Walmart and pay .50 each after coupon or get a raincheck from Walgreens.

Now if someone can just figure out how I can get the Toblerone free that would really make my day.

Thanks EEEndeavors!

Not free, but I go to 99c only and get the Toblerone.

I have a random Walgreens question. I went to get the Tylenol Precise from Walgreens. Total was $8.73, so I gave the cashier the $3/1 Walgreens coupon from the July booklet, and the $5/1 manufacturer coupon. The cashier said he was only allowed to take one of the coupons. I’ve never not been allowed to use a store and manu coupon on an item. Did something change? Or did I make an amature mistake?

You did nothing wrong, and the rules have not changed. You can still use one MQ and one Wags coupon per item, sounds like they were just confused. Seems to happen pretty often at Walgreens stores :)

The toblerone would make my day too(:

I was told by a walgreens person that you can’t have more coupons than items. Is that true? I thought you can have a man and store coupon on each.

Jen, I think they are confusing the Register Rewards. You can use a store coupon and manufacturer coupon. Click Drugstore 101 at the top of the blog to read more about how Walgreens works.

yes i think its that exactly. you can only use one coupon per item all u had to do was get a filler item(anything cheap) even a pencil and they would accept it . that way u have 2 items and 2 coupons.

Check the “Best If Used By” dates on the Milka bars before you purchase. All of the stores I visited today (in So.Cal) had past dates, some as far back as January…..

Oh gross Mike! Mine say Dec 2011 and Feb 2012. Awesome I am eating food with a 1 year shelf life :P

When you price match at target or walmart. Why are they 50cents? Shouldnt they still be free? I thought they doubled coupons too? Sorry just confused :)

Charlene July 18, 2011 at 3:07 PM

Tara, Target does not double coupons. Walmart has a few stores in the state of Utah only that double coupons. If the price is $1.50 and you have a $1 coupon you will pay $.50. If you go to Walgreens and only Walgreens, you can also use a Walgreens store coupon for $1/2 to make them free. That is called stacking coupons and neither Walmart nor Target will accept the Walgreens coupon.

Intresting to read some of these comments. Now I will check my exp dates, lol. I went to wags, got the milka bars and the only way mine would ring up was if I gave the manuf coupons first then the one from the July booklet. The manager said I might have to buy something else “filler” but it actually worked without one. I didn’t even pay tax or anything!
