I went to Target today and found a great deal on ground beef so as you can see it was stock up time!
Target: $16.85
Wonka Bar- Free with coupon AND I got another Wonka Bar and another free coupon= 2 for $0 and have a free coupon for a 3rd bar next time
Lime Juice $1.52
Scotch Tape $.50- used $.50 Target coupon= free
3 cans no salt veggies $.87
1 Cooler $4.49- 75% off!
2 Sippy Cups $.49- 75% off!
8lbs of 80% lean ground beef $3.09/lb- used (.50 Target coupon and $1 Target coupon)= $1.59/lb!! So $12.72
3pk Sports Balls $1.99- 75% off!
So the total toward my grocery budget was $16.85. Now before anyone calls me nasty names, there was an employee with an entire cart of this ground beef putting it out. I could have grabbed twice as many packages and still not made a dent in what they had so I bought a bunch but there was plenty left for others. The stuff I bought is supposed to be sold by 7/19 but it will go straight to the freezer for us.
Walgreens: $.69
I actually wouldn’t have gone to Walgreens but I wanted a few of the school supplies this week. So the total for my grocery budget was $.69.
I bought 4 Milka bars which were all free and donated a Reese’s Bar for .69 to the Military care packages they send off.
Whew! I hope to be able to stop by Sprouts later for the rest of the week’s groceries.
Awesome find on the ground beef! I’m not sure if my Target has meat. I might have to look now. I just don’t think to buy my meat at Target. 🙂

LOL Kristin. I am not nor have ever been a shelf clearer 😛 It is rare for me to buy a ton of something but 1.59/lb was too good to pass up 🙂
I stopped by Walgreens, too, and wished I hadn’t. I do not love their policy that the number of coupons in a transaction can’t exceed the number of items. I was buying the Mitchum deoderant, using my (2) $0.75 coupons and it wouldn’t let me use both and the Wallgreens register reward. Cause I was buying 2 items and that would be 3 coupons. So stupid.
Oh my word, tonight I went to Target and bought 10 of the BIC ballpoint pen 10-packs, and 5 rolls of Scotch magic tape, used Target web coupons and paid absolutely nothing, not even tax. Not sure how that worked out — I asked the checker whether he was going to get into trouble for the no tax thing — but he said no. My church is going to be so happy to have these pens! Wow. Just. wow.

Liane, if you click the link in the post you can see what I found. They look exactly like that and they are Target store coupons that are put on meat products the store wants to sell quickly. I found two coupons just like I mentioned in the post.
