Welcome to My Frugal Adventures! I am Charlene, a busy mom of two girls and one handsome pound puppy. I am on a constant quest to save as much as I can in some areas so I can splurge a little in others.
This blog is written for the moms (and non-moms) out there that want to learn how to seriously stretch a dollar. By sticking to a budget and making every penny count we are able to enjoy life and spend money on the things that are really important to us.
I get just as excited about your great deals as I do my own, so come and join me on my frugal adventures!

Wow—it’s toothpaste week! I actually got my P&G insert already (small town newspaper) and that Oral B one for the Rite Aid deal says, “$2.00 off one Oral-B Pulsar, CrossAction, Advantage, or any TWO Indicator or Cavity Defense Manual Toothbrushes.” Since it says Advantage, I’m guessing you could use it on any Advantage product. Hope so!
I believe Rite Aid has the same deal on the Gillette as Walgreens. @RA, Gillette Fusion ProGlide power or manual razor: On sale $9.97-$5 UP-$4.00/1 (PG 6/5)=$0.97 after coupon and rewards. Limit 2/HH for UP reward. And you don’t have to worry about a filler item.
The $5.00 coupon on Osteo Bi-Flex in the Walgreens Answer book is a manufacturer’s coupon (not a Walgreens coupon). It can’t be combined with the $5.00 coupons from the RP insert.
I finally made it to Walgreen’s this week, and they had a 6 pack of
Bounty paper towels on sale for $4.99. I have the $5 Bounty coupon and the cashier (must have been new?) said he couldn’t adjust it down to $4.99. I knew he was wrong but I didn’t have a copy of the policy with me. So I’m going back tomorrow I think.
Lisa, was it in the ad? You could skip them and price match at walmart or target too.
Yeah it was on the back page. They had to go in the back to get it because the shelf was empty. Walmart and Target are each 45 minutes away from me otherwise I’d do that. Hopefully a cashier that knows me will be there tomorrow and I’ll try again.
Got today with no problem thanks to my favorite cashier
where did you get the coupon for bounty towel for 4.99
Ruth, there were a few giveaways on Facebook for those coupons:
