Using 2 coupons on the razor deal @ Rite Aid would be against their new coupon policy … right?

    06/08/2011 at 5:55 PM

just wanted to add that at CVS you could get the 1L of Crest mouth wash free after $2 coupon and 2.50 in ecb, Excederin 8ct is .99 and you get a $1 ecb, and great deal on colgate toothpaste too after a $1 coupon, $2 ecb it was a small money maker.

Is there a Advil Deal coming up sometime next week. I really need to get some for a family member who had a Surgery. Please let me know.

Do you know if we are able to use (2) coupons in this scenario under the new RA coupon policy? My understanding of it was only one cents off coupon for a BOGO promotion. 🙁

Schick Hydro Razor- Buy One Get One Free
    Projected price $8.99/2
    Use (2) $4/1 from 6/12 SS
Final Price: possibly as low as $.50 each

  5. Charlene says

    06/08/2011 at 8:19 PM

Rachel, I thought it had to do with a BOGO on a BOGO? I emailed the RA PR guy for clarification though because I am not sure. You don’t have a CVS to get them free do you? I bet Target does a $5 gift card deal before they expire.

Hey Lorena is that the deals for this week? This is a preview of what is to come starting June 12th. If you click the link at the bottom that says see the Shop for Free list for this week, all of those deals are highlighted.

  7. sheila says

    06/08/2011 at 8:42 PM

Yes, you can only use one “cents-off” coupon on BOGO at Rite Aid now, due to their new lame policy 😛

  8. Charlene says

    06/08/2011 at 9:44 PM

Yeah I got an email back. No go. Poop.

  9. Jose says

    06/08/2011 at 10:36 PM

Darn, i just used my free 5 ct zyrtec coupon yesterday at RA… 🙁

  10. Christina says

    06/08/2011 at 11:29 PM

Forgive me because I am a total coupon/savings newb, but with the Walgreens allergy medications, isn’t that more like a BOGO because the 3.99 is off your next purchase? So, I could buy one and then get the next one free?

  11. Smita Arun says

    06/09/2011 at 4:15 AM

They are not understanding one thing that they would get the money from the Company even with BOGO if we give 2 Coupons the Managers @ Walgreens totally get the idea and enjoy it both ways. Managers are not always so bright that is why so many stores are closing down.

  12. Charlene says

    06/09/2011 at 7:31 AM

Not really Christina. You get a Register Reward and that can be used to pay for your next item- whatever you want it to be. If you buy another of the same item you actually lose money because another Register Reward won’t print. You can read about this program here:

So for the month long John Frieda deal at CVS, if I already did it this week and got my $3ecb’s back, does that mean I’m done for the month? Or can I do the deal again and get ecb’s back next week too? Thanks!

  14. Rachel R. says

    06/09/2011 at 12:59 PM

Nope, no CVS here in WA…maybe one day!

Rite Aid has a deal for buy a Dr. Scholl’s Item get a $5 up reward. ( I priced some of the items they range between $6.99-$13.99) So you can use the $1 off Dr. Scholls June video reward plus a $2 off manufacture coupon from here. http://www.drscholls.com/drscholls/forher.jsp
Its a $1 moneymaker if you buy a item for $6.99.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get the Lysol deal here either. I’ve never noticed RA to have big regional differences, but oh well!!

  20. amy says

    06/12/2011 at 11:13 AM

Okay, I did some nosing around and it looks there are a TON of people who didn’t get the Lysol deal. So, now i don’t feel too disappointed.

  21. Charlene says

    06/12/2011 at 11:20 AM

Sorry, I don’t have the ability to check several ads each week to do the matchups. 🙁 I am quite certain the advance ad had this deal listed and there is a reminder at the top of each Rite Aid post to double check your ad for regional variations. I am certain it was listed in the preview ad that I checked and we have seen this happen lots of times in the past. Specifically on Quantumatic dish soap not too long ago that was BOGO at some stores. The ad I checked has it on page 9 just under Tylenol Precise.

We believe you, Charlene! 🙂 Thanks for all you do!

Hey Amy do you have a price list for Organic meats? Do you buy them at Costco? I have that on my list of things to do… comparing prices for organic meat. Seems like $5/lb-ish is about right?

  24. amy says

    06/12/2011 at 11:52 AM

Not yet….I’m still figuring out what I’m willing to pay. We actually buy our grass fed beef from a local farm. We buy about 1/4 of a cow about once a year. It costs a bit more, but we feel good about where the meat comes from and we like that we are supporting our local farmers. Although, when we first started buying grass fed beef we stocked up when Whole Foods had it is the Friday special awhile back. It was $3.99/lb which is the cheapest I’ve EVER seen it. I’m hoping they have a chicken deal soon….
