Do you know if the mail in rebates usually allow for photocopied receipts? I haven’t shopped Wags in a long time, but it looks like a great week for rebates

    05/07/2011 at 9:13 AM

Jennifer- I have found they usually want the original copy. You should be able to check the box on Nexcare and at least that one you will know.

I don’t seem to have the tresemme coupons ….does anyone have any that will not be using them? I use this conditioner on my kids hair…it is the best and surprisingly we are just about out..yikes..hahahha..thanks to anyone!

  5. Charlene says

    05/07/2011 at 10:21 PM

Jamie- I don’t think I have any typos- can you tell me where? There is an advertised $3 RR so that for sure you get. Then if you spend $10 you get $2 or I suggested the wipes to hit $20 and get the $5. So it should be $5 and a $3 back.

OMG I am so mad at Walgreens I don’t think I will ever EVER shop there again. I just got back from a 24hr walgreens I got there 10 min before midnight to get the clear and clean body wash and the store had NONE and noone in the aisle waiting till midnight. AND the shelves was empty and I was told they may or may not get anymore this week. The items were sold out, all the toothpaste, all the toothbrushes and all the body wash before the sale even started!!!!

  7. Charlene says

    05/08/2011 at 12:12 AM

Oh homemommy- so I wonder if the employees got it all? That is what someone said the other day- the cashier told her forget it everything that is on sale I buy. That can be the only explanation? How awful!

I went to my local 24hour walmart and did the pampers deal (bought 2 packs of diapers 2 @9.00 and 1 wipes at 2.79) total was over 20.00 cheaper after coupons I had used, got back a 3.00 register reward and a 5.00 off OYNP of pampers catalina for spending 20.00
As for the Clean and clear my store had one, so I took my ad to walmart and price matched it and got my FREE bodywash there.

I just went through the same thing. I have several 24 hour Walgreens around here. I went to all 3 because they are closely located to one another and all the bodywashes were out, or there were 1 left. I kept thinking to myself, you know it will be on sale, why wouldnt you order plenty and be stocked up? They are getting really bad about that by me. The shelves are empty, apparently they dont mind having a sale but yet no products available, and no one knows when the next shipment is coming. I think Walmart will match a BOGO, so off to Walmart I go lol.

I just finished shopping at Walgreens, and the Pampers deal does work. I bought two packs of diapers and a refill of writes ($2.49) and I got the $5 and $3 RR. 🙂 I didn’t have the $2.50 coupons, but it was still a good deal with the $1.50 coupons. Thanks!!

  11. Dash says

    05/08/2011 at 9:16 AM

The $3 AND the $5 both print, just know that the $5 is just off a future $5 Pampers purchase, but doesn’t expire until 7/3!

Trisha- does your $5 RR say Pampers purchase only?

  14. Anna says

Spent 30 min in wags toDay, no sunburnt gel, c &c body soap didn’t ring up bogo, and the glade rr didn’t print. Manager tried everything with glade and finally worked with candles. And it actually printed $3 rr and manager told me to take it for all the hassles. So not a bad day at all!

  15. homemommy says

    05/08/2011 at 11:24 AM

I went to a walgreens this morning that opened at 8am and the shelves were clear except 4. I asked the manager about it and he said if you know the stores policy they actually put the sales in the computer at 3pm on Saturday and you can buy the item then. But he also informed me that Starting Yesterday or today there is a new coupon policy. Walgreens will no longer except a buy one get one free coupon for a buy one get one free item. Something to keep in mind when shopping at this store. He said its nation wide but they have changed the way they accept coupons. Well I change my store as well if thats the case.

I went to Walgreens but could not find the infant care book with the diapers coupon. Also my PG only has $1.50 off versus $2.50 in other regions (I live in pricey So Cal). They told me at Walgreens that the coupons boos could be found online for the infant care-can’t find them….am I missing something?? And Happy Mothers Day!

Also, no wipes at $2.99 at my Walgreens they were on sale for $5.99.

  17. Charlene says

    05/08/2011 at 4:42 PM

Krista- if you don’t have it by now the chances of finding them are slim. A lot of people sell them on Ebay and such plus they were available months ago so most stores probably stopped restocking them.

  18. Kelly says

    05/08/2011 at 4:45 PM

I had a cashier today tell me she wasn’t supposed to take the Clean and Clear BOGO coupon but she did and until they change it on the coupon policy I will remind them that they do. I also had to educate the manager because the cashier didn’t want to take my 2 coupons on the Lysol BOGO toliet bowl cleaner. He said they couldn’t take 2 and I showed him the coupon policy where it clearly states it does. Then he read the coupon and said “It states one per purchase.” I said I do have one per purchase and all of it together is a transaction. It doesn’t say anything on there about one per transaction. He realized I was right and to save face he “magnanimously” said he didn’t care if I used it as long as it didn’t beep. It didn’t and I got 2 body washes, 4 pantiliners, 2 Lysol toilet bowl cleaners, and 2 24 packs of Ozarka water for .50! That was after coupons and used 3 RR and still got a $1 RR back.

  19. Dash says

    05/08/2011 at 5:21 PM

Krista – if you have a nice cashier they actually don’t HAVE to have the Walgreens coupon (they only have to put the manufacturer coupons in their drawer/envelope. The cashier can just enter the code. The code for $2 off Pampers is 5521. I actually have an Infant Care book, but left it at home (so unlike me, but I’m blaming baby brain, I’m pregnant)… I called my husband at home and he read me the code, they then just entered it in the register. I too only received the $1.50 in my PG, I’m in Ohio. Our 72-count thick care refills are $2.49, the hard plastic cases of wipes are $2.99.

Here are the other codes in the infant care book, I’ve also used the W brand coupon on a BOGO deal to get two Jumbo packs for $4.99 total.

$2 Any Enfamil Infant Powder 22.2oz or larger: 5516
    $2 Similac Advance or Sensitive 23.2oz: 5517
    $2 Any 2 playtex infant products: 5518
$2 any 1 Huggies big pack diapets or wipes 184 or 216 ct: 5519
$2 childrens or infants Arbil suspension .5 or 4 oz: 5520
$2 any 1 pampers cruisers, swaddles or sensitive diapers, big or jumbo: 5521
$2 triple paste medicated ointment for diaper rash 2oz or larger: 5522
$2 W (walgreens) brand diapers, jumbo pack: 2844

    Good luck!

I had a terrible trip at Walgreens this morning and vow to not go back. I showed up 30 minutes after opening and there was 1 body wash left. This happens week after week at this store, and I used to think it was shelf clearing, but I think it’s actually a stocking issue. When I asked the cashier about it today, she blamed it on the remodel that it starting this week and says they aren’t getting much stock in (but again this is an ongoing issue). She offered to sell me the 1 body wash at half price since they didn’t have 2 for the BOGO deal and I explained that I had a BOGO coupon and that wouldn’t work on one body wash. She proceeded to tell me that she had already called corporate that morning and confirmed they can’t take a BOGO coupon on a BOGO store promotion because “that is like doubling”. I know it was an uneducated cashier and I didn’t have the coupon policy with me but it got me so fired up. Between the lack of consistency on their coupon policy and stocking issues, I am giving up on Walgreens. Thankfully, I have a couple of great Rite Aid’s close by and I’ll have to focus my efforts there.

Check your pediatrician’s offices for coupons! I found a box on the wall full of different q’s in my pedi’s office for everything from diapers, formula, triaminic, band aids to lysol products.

Found a booklet with lysol product q’s including a $1/1 lysol wipes q. Made for a good deal at Wags w/the lysol wipes BOGO sale this week.

I just happened to glance up at check out & saw these. I would have never thought of lysol q’s being at the pedi’s office!

Charlene, mine does say off any Pampers $5+ purchase. BUT….has anyone tried to roll this coupon again with the same deal? Does it print another $5 coupon if you exchange one of your $1.50/$2.50 coupons? If so, this would make a really good deal. If not, it still might make a good deal in the future since the coupon doesn’t expire for quite some time.

  26. jamie says

    05/09/2011 at 8:55 PM

@ Trisha- I did the Pampers deal & I did roll the $5 Pampers RR & it does print another one. I actually did this deal 5 times. HTH

  27. jamie says

    05/09/2011 at 9:00 PM

And as for Wags not taking the BOGO on a BOGO item…the mngr @ my store is trying to refuse them also. So i will take my ad to Walmart because they will price match a BOGO if the price of the item is in the ad & i just checked & it says “BUY 1 @ 5.99 GET ONE FREE” So guess where I’ll be going tomorrow morning (wish i would have thought about this earlier I was just @ Wal-mart about 3 hrs ago)

  28. Trisha Kuster says

    05/09/2011 at 9:01 PM

Awesome, thanks Jamie!!! I plan on going back to roll that coupon a few more times. 😀

Will walmart also let you use the bogo coupon on the pricematch?

  30. Renee says

    05/11/2011 at 3:43 PM

I had the same Walgreens experience-they wouldn’t take my BOGO coupon. I called corporate and was informed that THEY STILL HONOR BOGO COUPONS EVEN WHEN THEY ARE HAVING A BOGO SALE! Corporate called my store and I received a call from the manager and he is ordering me 4 bottles today and I’m using 2 coupons and getting them for free!!!!

  31. Rachel R. says

    05/12/2011 at 1:59 PM

Yea, Renee! That is heartening. 🙂

I have talked to stores that say if they write you a raincheck and you have a manufac. Q that expires before they get the item in stock they will still honor your raincheck. So make sure to point it out to them. Don’t be too upset by cleared shelves, just get a raincheck.

  33. jamie says

    05/13/2011 at 8:29 PM

I also called corp. about the mngr. telling me hat the head mngr said they couldnt accept the BOGO Q’s on a BOGO sale. Well needless to say the head mngr called me immediately apologizing for the mngr telling me that. They do take them & he was very apologetic. Talked to another mngr. when i went in the other day & he said he called & reemed the mngr that gave me false info & said if i came in he was giving me all the bodywash for free.
