The $5 Tylenol Precise coupon from 5/8 expires on 5/15.

  2. shylar says

    05/14/2011 at 6:21 AM

there’s a huggies coupon in the infant care booklet (code 5519) to take an additional $2/1

  3. Jennie says

    05/14/2011 at 9:56 AM

Ugh, I went to Walgreens here and they couldn’t use two coupons on one item (the Tylenol Precise deal). Boooo! Thinking about sticking with CVS.

  4. Monica says

    05/14/2011 at 10:12 AM

Went to walgreens to do pampers deal week 5/7/11 and the lady at the beauty counter handed me the infant care booklet! 🙂 she said they just got them in. I’m in San Antonio TX. There is hope after all at walgreens.

  5. Charlene says

    05/14/2011 at 10:16 AM

Shylar- Isn’t that for a big pack? I thought the Pampers was on any and the Huggies is only on a big pack? The ones on sale are Jumbos.

  6. Jen O'Dell says

    05/14/2011 at 12:46 PM

You have to have one item per coupon at walgreens.

  7. jane says

    05/14/2011 at 1:11 PM

I have a question on the Old Spice/Gillette Deal. If you buy 2 Old spice for $3.33 ea. and use a BOGO free coupon that makes them 2/$3.33 right? If you add the Gillette Body Wash (another $3.33) – the $2.00 coupon leaves you with $1.33. $1.33 + $3.33 = $4.66 – $3 RR = 3/$1.66 or $.55 ea. and not 3/$1.01 If it’s me that’s off sorry LOL!

  8. Charlene says

    05/14/2011 at 1:20 PM

Not sure Jane- I will check the math again later. Entirely possible there is an error.

  9. Liza says

    05/14/2011 at 3:03 PM

I thought you could have one Walgreens coupon and one MFR coupon per item, so the Precise should have worked.

Oh, and I’m wondering about the Scotch tape deal. If you use two coupons it should be free for all three, unless the price you have listed for one is off. Just wondering. 🙂

  10. Charlene says

    05/14/2011 at 3:36 PM

Liza, all three will be free however like I said in the post a lot of people had a terrible time with this the last time around. In my head, I would rather pay $.99 for 3 rolls of tape than fight it out with a cashier and a manager and all that. So that is just an option for those that might have any issues.

  11. Bridget says

    05/14/2011 at 5:19 PM

If I am remembering correctly, the Gillette Free deoderant when you buy bodywash coupon had a 14 in the barcode. I think I saw something from you on another post saying that means the system counts both items purchased for the use of the one coupon. If I am correct then unfortunately the deal where you get all 6 items for $1 wouldn’t work 🙁 I do know for sure the Old Spice coupons from that same week had a 14 in them because I already used them and if they hadn’t had it in there I could have done even better with them.

  12. Charlene says

    05/14/2011 at 5:26 PM

Bridget I haven’t checked tit out but I would check it and that is why I provided 3 scenarios. Just do the one that will work for you. If I don’t offer the 6 item scenario I will have a list of people telling me that the deal is better and here is what they did.

  13. lori says

    05/14/2011 at 8:24 PM

do you know if the cottonelle deal is still on?

  14. amy says

    05/15/2011 at 10:07 AM

This morning I did the gillette deal without a problem…..3 body wash & 3 free deodorant. It was $1.00 for all 6 just like you said. (Well free for me because I had a RR to pay with) 🙂

I also did the scotch tape deal and used two $1.00 coupons. It went through without a hitch…3 rolls of tape for free!!!

I think when people run into so many problems is because they don’t give their coupons in the right order. Always give the in-ad coupons LAST.

  15. judyf2 says

    05/15/2011 at 10:54 AM

At Walgreens I have problems if the coupons add up to more then the one item – the rules say you can’t do it but some workers don’t know that and will make it work any way.

  16. Kim says

    05/15/2011 at 12:00 PM

Just got back from walgreens, did the gillette deal. Got 3 bodywashes and 3 deodorants, used 3 $2/1 and b1g1 deodorant. It did work, i had them scan the $2 coupons first then the b1g1. dont know if the order of them mattered but it worked with no problem. paid 3.99, got back $3 RR. All for $1!

  17. Kandie says

    05/15/2011 at 12:28 PM

The Gillette deal worked for me! 3 body wash and 3 free deodorant, all 6 for just $1.

The scotch tape deal worked too! I used 3 of the coupon instead of 2, and I had no problems!!

Good filler if you need one to enable one-to-one manu coupon ratio at Wags. Also bubbles are good for kid parties, weddings, and above all no-calories

I have a question regarding the Old Spice/Gillette body Was.
I have the BOGOF coupon for the Old Spice, and the $2 off for the Gillette which makes it $4.66, am I able to use my $4 Register Reward (from Colgate toothbrushes) on top of that also? I’m new to Walgreens couponing and still easily confused with the Register Rewards.

Taco Shells & Dole Fruit Crisp: Is anyone having trouble finding these?? I’m in Denver, CO, and I’ve been to 3 Walgreens with no luck (they’re not out, they just don’t regularly carry the products). What’s the deal? I got their ad in the Denver paper this morning advertising the 5/$5!

Scotch Magic Tape: Last time around, I gave the manufacturer’s coupons first and the cashier just stared at me and wouldn’t start processing the coupons until I gave her *ALL* the coupons I wanted to use on the transaction. Of course, she knew what I was up to and tried to prevent it. I don’t see what difference it made to her. I’ve always had trouble with Walgreens and deals, I never go anymore unless there’s a REALLY good deal (and then of course they don’t have the products they’re advertising!)

  22. Michelle says

    05/16/2011 at 5:41 PM

I went to Walgreens this evening to purchase the 3/$10 and I had my coupons in hand and I was told per 2 differnet locations that per their corporate office which was advised per the manufactures that they can no longer except more then 4 coupons per day per customer for items from the same line. He stated that it was because the manufactures have told them that they will not reimburse them for more then 4 coupons used per day per customer ( for items purchased from the same line). Has anyone else had any issues or been told this? I was told this was just advised to all the Walgreens on Saturday

  23. Charlene says

    05/16/2011 at 7:26 PM

Michelle- I have not heard that specifically however I have heard all sorts of changes “that just happened yesterday” at Walgreens from lots of people :). My opinion is that Extreme Couponing scared the heck out of Walgreens and I think they are going to make changes soon. I think they will be the first and I bet we see more and more changes. Walgreens has always been the least coupon friendly of all the stores so it makes sense they will respond first…

Made the Gillete Body Wash Deal today, basically got 3 wash for $1 and 3 doeodorants for $1, here is the detail:

    3 body wash at 3 for 10
2 deodorants at 5.49 and 1 at 2.75 because the 50% off on the second item offer
1 Dove chocolate bar at .39 (filler)

used 3 $2 off on the bodywash
used 3 buy one body wash get one deodorant free(the maximun value is 4.99 per coupon)
used a $5 previous week RR

So, paid .39 cents plus 2.40 tax for everithing, and got a $3 RR back…. =D

    Charlene,

Did you see the Dole Fruit Crisp at your Walgreens? I want to get some, but don’t want to drive around every where….I don’t even know if I have the coupon.LOL.

  27. Charlene says

    05/17/2011 at 4:20 PM

No I didn’t get the coupon. If you got it you can pm at target- I know for sure they have them.

  28. Sarah says

    05/17/2011 at 6:58 PM

OMG Target will price match them?? I totally forgot they do that. Do you have to do anything special or just bring the Walgreen’s ad to the cashier and show them?

  29. Steve says

    05/18/2011 at 6:17 AM

We were able to successfully use 3 coupons for the Scotch tape… so it was a moneymaker. I also had $5 RR (1 x $3 and 1 x $2) from last week so we got creative to make it all work within policy:

    3x Scotch Tape ($1.99 + 2 free – 3 $1/1 manuf coupons) = $1.00 moneymaker
3x movie theater candy (on sale for $1/ea)
    2x Blue Diamond almonds ($3.59 – B1G1)
    – $5 RR
    = $0.58 OOP

(there’s a Blue Diamond coupon for $0.60/2 but they wouldn’t adjust it down)
