Reader Abigail pointed out another good deal this week on diapers at Walgreens.
You can get a pack of store brand diapers for $5.00
Use the $2/1 coupon from the Walgreens infant care booklet*
Final Price: $3.00
*These booklets were available in stores a few months back in the diaper aisles or at the beauty counters. I have not seen them for awhile but many people have reported finding them again recently. You can use one coupon regardless of how many packs you buy and you do not need to give the cashier the coupon to keep. They can scan it and give it back to you.
I mentioned this Register Reward in the weekly matchups and reader Holly confirmed it is working.
Here are the Register Reward details:
Buy 1 V-8 Fusion Juice 46oz+ from 5/27-6/25 and get the following:

- Buy 4 and get $3.00 RR back
This week, V-8 is priced at $3.00 with in ad coupon (limit 4). So here are some ideas:

Final Price: $2.00 eachBuy 3 at $3.00

and Get $3 RR back

*If your store carries the V-8 Fusion + Tea, use the $1/1 printable coupon and the deal is even better. This is an unadvertised Register Reward, so it should be working for everyone but no guarantees!

Some wags like my 2 that I shop at will take the coupon from you, i also overheard a manager say that they cannot use one coupon for both items I havent been able to test this out since I dont have anymore infant care booklets.
shylar says
it’s a wags coupon – it automatically deducts from both items. they just throw them away so silly that they would take it from you. :/

I bought the huggies wipes that were on sale today for $5.99 and thought that I too would be able to keep the $2 off one huggies wipes from the infant care coupon book but the cashier cut it out and kept it. When I asked if she could just scan it so that I can keep it, she told me that it had to be “accounted for” in her cash register? Another reason why I like shopping at CVS, I never run into these problems.

I caught this deal while we were near a Walgreens today (we live 30 minutes from one) and RAN inside to get the diapers. The manager had to go get an infant care booklet out of the back and the cashiers hadn’t even heard of them. There has been a bunch of diaper deals this last month and I am so glad. Thanks

I have never used the Wags diapers before…… for you ladies who have used them, how do they compare to some other brands? I am usually not a brand snob when it comes to diapers (I’m not going to pay a fortune for my kids to poop in something!) but I also really dislike some brands (like the walmart diapers)

Michele- The old diapers I used and I couldn’t even bring myself to donate them because they were so dreadful. These new ones I keep hearing really good things about. The nice thing is you can tape your receipt to the packs and if they don’t work out just return them 🙂

I really like the Walgreens diapers! I am not brand specific either – I have never had a problem with leaking! They are actually identical to the tugaboos from Rite Aid…just different packaging! Definately a good diaper to stock up on until another diaper sale comes along!

I have one year old twins and I love the Walgreens diapers. As soon as I saw the 2/$10 deal I rushed out to get some. I have had an infant care booklet for months now and they do not need the coupon. They just scan it once and it deducts $2 for each pack. These are at a terrific stock up price. I also have a 2 1/2 year old and the Walgreens pullups are AWFUL! I only wish those would get “new and improved.” 🙂
JR says
Please remind me, can I use the Infant Care $2 coupon and a $3 RR from a previous purchase to pay for the diapers?
Charlene says
JR- I think that will work but just keep your eye on those $.33 caramels by the register as an emergency filler if needed.
