I mentioned the $.99 Reach toothbrushes at Walgreens last week. It looks like the catalina offer is printing as well for up to $4 back when you buy 4 Reach toothbrushes.
These are the crystal brushes which are on sale at my store for $.99 this month. Some of you couldn’t find these- so your store may not have them tagged with the sale sign or they might not carry them.
If you do spot them, use the $1/1 coupons from 4/17 SS or the $2/2 from 5/8 SS and if the stars align, you will pay 0 and get a $4 RR back!
Note: Those of you familiar with Walgreens know the drill. Those new to Walgreens I just want you to know this could be a headache for you. The coupons are for .01 over the sale price so the last coupon you use will beep and the cashier will need to adjust it down. The other issue is inventory, my store was completely wiped out when I went to test this deal.

FYI – when I did the Tylenol Precise deal, my Walgreens refused to adjust the coupon down by .01. I was not pleased with both the cashier and store manager. Because of this experience, I hesitated in purchasing the Reach toothbrushes that you referenced above. Hopefully you all have a better experience than me!
It did not work for me in Atlanta. I bought 4 and it printed out a slip telling me there was a future catalina starting June 1st but no RR today. This seems to be the case in many cities.
I wasn’t sure if it would work since I heard also some people saying the RR didn’t print.
I tried and it worked here in Nor Cal.

I had the same issue w/the Tylenol Precise. The clerk refused to adjust the value of the q, so did the mngr. Stupid me did not have my policy. Told them the WAGS policy was to adjust down. Was told they had never done that. Went to another WAGS. Same story but clerk was much nicer about it. Called mngr over & he wasn’t sure either but this time I was armed w/the policy. He was shocked & said, “Where did you get that?” I told him it was available to the public right on their website. He said, “Oh, I have to check that out!” Really, WAGS? Why are your staff so uneducated on their own store policy? I did call Corp. & was told that indeed it is their policy to adjust down the value of the q to the sale price. The next day the mngr of the first store called back & apologized saying they should have adjusted the q & that she was instructed by corp. to adjust the q’s & from now on her staff would be doing this. So, maybe I’ll have less probs at this Wags. Maybe…..just maybe….One can only hope….
Walgreens is the worst. I refuse to shop at either of the stores near my house. They refuse coupons all of the time and their personnel is rude.

I just tested this deal and it seems at the Walgreens in the SF Bay Area, the catalina won’t start until mid June. I bought 4 Reach toothbrushes, and instead of a catalina printing, a Reach ad printed stating the promotion dates.
I just tried this deal this afternoon in San Diego, Ca. Luckily, this Walgreens is pretty good with coupons. I bought six toothbrushes, had 3 $2/2 coupons, the last coupon didn’t want to scan but the cashier told me to buy a carmel candy at the register for 39 cents. It still wouldn’t go thru, but she honored it any way. In the end I only paid 85 cents and got my $4 catalina coupon! I totally lucked out with this one!
My store had the toothbrushes on sale for $1.39 in Ohio, I am holding out and checking other stores in the next county over. I had trouble with the scotch tape coupon too!
I went to Walgreens tonight in NorCal and at both stores I received an ad for reach and no RR. I am going back to find out what is going on. It doesn’t seem consistant in certain areas.

My walgreens here on the central coast in ca had the reach toothbrushes priced at $3.39!! They were out of the tape, the gilette deodorante & bodywash too!!!
Newbie- there are usually several kinds of toothbrushes. Your store may not have had the crystal brushes- they are the ones that are clear. My guess is that the Total Care or another one of the better quality ones are priced at $3.39.
Does anyone know if there are printable Reach toothbrush coupons? I dont have them.
Does anyone know how often Wlagreens restocks their products? Ive gone to 2 different ones for the proglide shaver and the toothbrushes. my walgreens is in the next city over so I cant keep wasting gas going to go check.
It TOTALLY worked in Central IL. I was NOT expecting it to, so it was a GREAT surprise!!!
I wanted to add that I returned today to another Walgreens to do 2 transactions of TB and this time the $4 RR didn’t print only the Reach ad stating the RR will print starting 06/01. This is in the same city where I got the $4 RR yesterday. ????? Don’t know what’s going on with this promotion but Catalina is going to hear about me 🙂
Worked here in Central Minnesota. I only had coupons for 3 toothbrushes, the cashier adjusted them down to .99. I paid 20 cents sales tax and got a $2 RR!
