Here is the plan for this week.  I spent a lot of time this weekend going through our pantry, freezer and fridge to clean things out.  I really want to just work through what we have right now so I can start fresh for spring- especially with the proteins in the freezer right now.  So odd the things you wind up with tons of- for us I have several packages of tortillas in the freezer and sweet potato fries to use up.

MONDAY: Chicken Fajitas with rice

TUESDAY: Crock Pot Pulled Pork with Carrots

WEDNESDAY: Tacos

THURSDAY: Grilled Sausages and Corn and salad

FRIDAY: Chicken Tenders and Roasted Potatoes

SATURDAY: Grilled Steak and Salad and sweet potato fries

SUNDAY:  Spicy Fish Tacos (hold the spice for the little people)

You can put tortillas in the freezer? Do you separate the package before you freeze them? I don’t freeze bread because I really don’t like it toasted, but I’ll usually heat tortillas on the stove or in the oven if there is a lot. Can you freeze both flour and corn?

    Hi Charlene
I just got done watching your utube show about meal planning. It was VERY useful to watch you explain your meal planning process. I have now created a drawer in my kitchen for recipes that I take from magazines (as you suggested). This is a great tip! Also, you suggest starting with what you have on hand and plugging it into a recipe finding finder on the web…..great idea! Anyways, I now have some great steps to follow thanks to you! Happy Easter!

I regularly freeze both. You have to let them thaw on the counter a little bit to make it easier to separate them. Corn is a little harder to separate than flour in my opinion. But they taste fine once you heat them.
