Here is another way to get free Easter candy for the little ones-
Walgreens has plastic Easter Starburst candy eggs on sale for $.75 this week
Use the $.50/2 Skittles/Starburst candy coupon
and use the $.50/1 Skittles/Starburst Easter item coupon from the Walgreens coupon book
Final Price: 2 for Free!
I used my coupons at Target already but even for .25 with just the store coupon this is a fantastic deal!
NOTE: I went to my store tonight to try this and the tag on the shelf said $1.29. I went ahead and took them to the register and after giving the Walgreens coupon book coupon, my total was $.25 each. So they might not be marked correctly in your store!
You can see more free or very cheap items for Easter baskets here.
(Thanks Wild for Wags)
These things were $1.29 at my Walgreens 🙁 Obviously, I didn’t buy.
can i get the Skittles too?
Gina- I made a mistake that has been corrected. It is not Skittles easter eggs but rather Starburst Jelly Bean Easter eggs. I have no idea what the Skittles eggs are priced at but if they are similar than get those.
@Sylvia- did you ask for a price check? Sometimes they don’t have the tags up on sale items.
I didn’t ask for a price check but that price was on a tag. It even said to use the $1/2 coupon in the Walgreens April booklet. It’s actually good that I didn’t buy because I really don’t need more candy here in the house.
I just did this and it is for the Skittles (filled) eggs too. They are on sale 4/$3.00. I bought 4 and used the Walgreens coupon (deducted $2.00) and then 2 of the $0.50 coupons. I got 4 for FREE!
Where do you get the wallgreens coupon book from? I clicked on the link but it just took me to Groupon?
Robin- there is no link for the coupon book. It is free and located at the front of the store near the sales flyers.
