It is Monday which means both Blockbuster and Redbox offer free movie rentals today.
For Blockbuster Express, you should be able to use code: EASYMONDAY for a free rental today only.
I strongly recommend reserving your movie online and you can use the code to verify it works. I just did that and it worked fine for me but every week I hear from people that drive to the kiosks and the codes are rejected.
If you are not aware, Redbox also has a program to get a free movie rental on the first Monday of the month.
For this one you need to register for text alerts and they will text it to you- the codes are unique and can only be used once. I got my text first thing this morning from them. (Standard text rates will apply.)
Remember these are only free if you return them on time tomorrow- otherwise late fees will apply.

I tried reserving on-line and the promo code worked perfectly, but, the transaction would not complete. I called the toll-free number to see what the problem was and they said that the online reservations in our area are not going through. But, you said you had no problem, right? We live in the same area. Any thoughts on this.
The EASYMONDAY code is not working for me on BB–I’m trying to rent a new release–is that why? TIA.

No sorry Brenda. I just tested it before I posted but I don’t intend to drive to get a movie today. I guess just pay $1 to rent it or skip this week.
I tried it on Black Swan–that came out this week. I also didnt enter any credit card info first, I just put the movie in my cart and tried the code. I’ll try it that way, and if not, another movie I guess. These always get me because I end up forgetting or getting too busy to return it! lol
I think it was the movie Black Swan–tried it with Never Let Me Go and it worked. Hmmmm. Of course the ONE movie I want to see. Next week I guess!
