I noticed this deal awhile ago but I couldn’t find any coupons to go with it.

But I got coupons in my paper today, which makes this a pretty good deal:

Orajel Toddler Training Toothpaste is BOGO ($3.99/2)
Use (2) $1/1 coupons from 3/13 SS
Final Price: $1.99 for 2 or .99 each

*The sale price was marked through 3/26 at my store

Stay tuned because I have a few more Walgreens deals I will post in just a bit!

Can you use two coupons even though one of the items is free? I always thought you could but last week at Meijer they had Aunt Millies bread buy one get two free and when I tried to use 3 coupons for .55 off each, the cashier said I couldn’t because that would be like me getting money back ๐Ÿ™

on which insert you’re talking about? I got Redplum and Smartsource but there’s nowhere to be found. Please help me out, I need this for my little ones.

I sure wish I got the same coupons up here in MN. My son has been asking for this every time we go to Walgreen. He’s 3 and he already knows to ask “Do we have a coupon, mommy?” and we never do. BOGO I might go for it, but it’d be better with coupons!

    Nicole,

It is allowed for in the Walgreens coupon policy:

You might want to try another cashier at Meijer because you should have been fine using one coupon per item you bought ๐Ÿ™‚

Rose- when I say “3/13 SS” that will refer to the Smart Source insert.

You can read about regional variations in inserts here:

Aren’t the Walgreens coupons in the book actually manufacturer coupons that are good only at Walgreens? They have no problems with you using two manufacturer coupons? I know you can stack the regular “coupon specials” from the weekly ad with manufacturer coupons.

Also you talked about stacking the Target coupons. Those say manufacturers coupon as well.

Actually, I am pretty sure that you can’t use a coupon on the free item at Meijer. I have tried it a couple of times before (once with a cashier and once with the u-scan).

Judy I am not following your question. In this situation you are purchasing 2 items and you are using one manufacturer coupon for each of the items you buy. That is a perfectly valid transaction according to the Walgreens coupon policy. I don’t see where Target coupons were referenced here?

Are there different SS inserts? I’m in Michigan and we didn’t have a coupon for this in our insert. Bummed because my son is running out of this! Thanks!

Yes Marcy sometimes there are differences. You can read about coupon variations here:

Thanks Charlene. I’ll just get it since BOGO’s still a good deal without coupon. They’re expensive without the deal.

Charlene, do you get the Oakland paper? I got the SFC and I didn’t get this Q. ๐Ÿ™ Thanks.

No it was in the Sacramento Bee. I don’t live in Oakland. A friend of mine in Arkansas got the coupon so it must have been random around the country.

You can print a $1/1 coupon from the orajel site:
