Walgreens: Diapers as low as $1.99/pack

There is an extra $10 mail in rebate when you spend $25 in select W Brand products at Walgreens.  The rebate is based on pre-coupon prices and should print right out on your receipt.  This was advertised in the free coupon booklets available at each store.

This makes the deal on diapers this week especially good:

Buy 5 packs of W Brand diapers at $5.99
Use the $2 off coupon in the Walgreens Infant Care book (that takes off $2 per pack)
Pay $19.95 and get back a $10 rebate

So the net price is $1.99 per pack!

See more Walgreens deals for the week here.

*By the way, you can keep those books and continue to use the coupons- there is no need for your cashier to take the coupon when you use it. The just need to scan it and you can ask to have it back.

(Thanks Wild for Wags!)

I’ve seen them at the register. If you can’t find one, email me your name and address and I’ll mail you one. [email protected]

Elizabeth, they are usually at the Beauty Counters, and a lot of times they are hidden away, I just usually ask someone at the Beauty Counter.

I found mine in the medicine isle. I have 3 walgreens stores around me and only 1 had it.
Also, I have had some stores take the coupon out. I tell them they don’t have to and they say yes because it says manufacture coupon. So now I just get bunches of books so just in case they decide to take one out, I have another one.

Has anyone tried these? I’m all about trying store brands, but I am anxious to see if they really work before I buy 5packs of them and spend $20 OOP.
    Thanks! 🙂

Another scenario is buy 4 packs of diapers at $5.99 and 1 pack of the premium refill wipes at $4.99 (which is also one of the qualifying items). My wipes had $2 off peelies on them when you buy the diapers.

    $5.99 x4 = $23.96
    $4.99 x1= $4.99
    Total $28.95
    Less Diapers Coupons -$8.00
Less Wipes coupon found on package – $2.00
Total $18.95 and then submit for the $10 rebate ($1.79 per item)

    Ashley-
I have used the Walgreens brand severeal times and think they work just as well as the name brand diapers…if you can find the baby coupon book, I’d go for it!

I’ve used these diapers for about a month now and I have no complaints at all, no leaks, no rash etc (I use size 4 currently).

I tried the coupon it only came off 1 time on the 5 packs I purchased, but 4 of those were the W pullups. And fyi the rebate only applies to diapers, W pullups or training pants. Too bad!

I haven’t found the booklet yet. But I do have to say I really like the Walgreens brand diapers. I think they are roomier than some brands and seem to hold well overnight. The Huggies size 2 are getting small on my son but the Walgreens will still fit in size 2 for awhile.

they are pretty good diapers you would be surprised! You cant go wrong at 1.99 a pack.
I use them all day but not for overnight. I think they would be ok but I wouldnt want to try LOL

I tried them. They’re exactly same as Rite Aid brand(Tuggaboo) and similar to Target brand. I like them, they’re thin and feel like Luv brand. I think it’s worth to try.

Just did this deal today for my sorta-grands… The coupon beeped, but the guy entered it manually.. and was just going to do it once, but I told him it was supposed to work for all 5 of them… he didnt disagree, just entered the other $8 manually as well… then proceeded to remove the coupon from the booklet. 🙁 I was really wanting to use that coupon at another Wags.. the other one I stopped at no one had heard or seen the Infant Care booklet. Phoey!

I use the walgreens diapers at night. She has no leakage and no rash in the morning. I prefer these over name brand because of the price.

Do you have to buy them in the same transaction for the regate?

did this deal yesterday. what a disaster!!! i try to avoid walgreens, bc there always seems 2 b an issue at the register. but i just had to score this deal!! i only have 2 Wags near me. the 1 i went to was pretty much sold out of the sizes i needed

    03/29/2011 at 12:02 PM

sorry—computer cut me off. anyway, got sizes i didnt want

oh my goodness!! im sorry!! something is wrong with my computer!!! ok, so i got larger sizes, but i hope to exchange them another day. they did have the infant care booklets, but the coupon didnt work!!! they gave me such a hard time! i was so angry. since the coupon wasnt working, they manually took of $10. i was so frustrated, and in a hurry that i didnt notice the rebate didnt print out, until i was already 10 minutes away from the store!! i had to go back. they were very rude and didnt want to help me. i said fine, just give me a refund. finally a manager got me what i needed, but said they will not do it again! i didnt do anything wrong!!! it wasnt my fault that the Wags coupon wasnt working, and they entered the adjustment incorrectly!! such a terrible experience! i seriously wasted one hour of my busy day. i hope no one else had to go thru this. also…its 1 rebate per household with the exception of 2 in RI.

I just did this deal and for once a scenario at Walgreens worked perfectly – yay!!! I asked at the pharmacy for the infant books and they were out back there but asked someone else and she had some at the photo lab – funny! Right when she scanned it, it immediately took $10 off and brought my total to $21.15. The rebate printed out just like the RR do. The lady said she wasn’t sure if they were to collect the coupon so she went ahead and took it, which was fine with me for such a deal!!! Now I just hope I like these diapers after buying so many because I haven’t tried them before. I figured I couldn’t go wrong for $1.99 a pack!!! Thank you!!!!

AWESOME!!! I feel so frugal! Did the diaper deal today and everything went perfectly! I found the Infant Care booklet and asked a worker right away if I could use the coupon more than once–“yes”. Got five packs–thankfully all the size I needed! Rang them up, they scanned the coupon once and it took $10 off, the rebate printed and I was out the door! I did notice that the rebate is only one per household though.

Does anyone have the address where I can send the rebate. My form printed out really light from the register (low ink) and my WAGS refused to reprint it. I can basically make out the information on the form but I wanted to just double check before I put it in the mail. Thanks!
