I thought I would start a new series with just a few of the upcoming freebies you can look forward to at the drugstores. ย Each of these deals will begin on 3/20– stay tuned for the complete list of matchups for each store. I used to do this each week for all the stores and I stopped awhile back. I’d love to get your feedback on whether it is helpful to see the freebies that are coming your way or if you prefer to wait for the complete list of matchups.

I’ve been following your blog every day (multiple times a day) for over a year now and I don’t remember you doing this before. However, I am in love with this feature!!! The first thing I do when you post the weekly deals is skim for the stuff under a dollar and I really liked how recently you were breaking it down in the weekly post, but this is really nice! Also, like a previous poster said, it could help us decide early on if we want to go out and buy extra papers. If it’s not too much trouble – keep this one coming! ๐Ÿ™‚

Tiffany I did for maybe the first year I blogged. That was back when early previews for Target were available on Wednesday. So sad those are gone. Then I stopped because I decided to just do the matchups on Thursday so it seemed pointless to do a recap and then the entire list the next day… Now the matchups are getting later and later so I figured I might try this again and see how it works ๐Ÿ˜›

In the Rite Aid section, I think you might be mixing up the Lysol rebate with the Clorox rebate (which is the same as the Pine Sol rebate). I think there is a limit of 1 Lysol rebate, not 2 (Clorox was 2).

Good catch Christy- it is a limit one. Lysol, Clorox… it all looks the same after awhile ๐Ÿ˜›

Can someone please explain to me the math on the trident gum at Walgreens. If they are $.79 with the in-store coupon and you use a BOGO, wouldn’t that make them more like $.36, not $.14… just curious, thanks!

  30. Charlene says

    03/17/2011 at 10:06 PM

Amber give the MQ first and it will take the entire 1.29 off. Then the Walgreens coupon adjusts down the second pack:

    1.29x 2= 2.58
    – 1.29 coupon
    – walgreens coupon (takes off .50 per pack)
    =.29 total for both

I remember when you did this before. Can’t believe I’ve been couponing that long! Almost two years now.

I loved this feature before. I don’t usually get extra papers, but sometimes a “hot” coupon has printed out before I can get to it, so this will help with getting in on the prints.

    Thanks for everything!

  32. Sarah says

    03/18/2011 at 1:21 AM

I don’t think the $5 IP for Doctor’s Night Guard is for the item on sale at Rite Aid. I think the Advanced one that the coupon is for is something like $35. The one on sale is the basic one.

Charlene, I’m having trouble with the “Print Friendly” button so that I can print out specific posts. I’ve never had a problem before but now it just takes me to the beginning of the post and that’s it. I have to manually select all the text, copy, and then print. Have you had any other inquiries because I haven’t changed anything on my computer or printer. Thanks!
