Charlene, sorry for not explaining better. When I bought the cone the cashier said her screen said product ineligible. I had the right cone and she saw the picture and, of course, that it was just for the spray. My next trip im going to try it again with a different person 🙂

I had trouble as well. Used the self check out and a cashier had to come over. He told me it was only for the spray….so I told him online it said the coupon would work for a cone. That’s not really a lie right? 😉 He said “ok” and put it through!!! Yay!
I tried this coupon at WalMart and had the same trouble. The lady said it was only for the spray since that was the picture, so I chose not to buy it. Then, I tried it at my local grocery store. The male cashier wasn’t going to put it through until I showed him the cone said Super Oder Neutralizer–only paid .29! Better than full price. Does this happen alot? Cashiers won’t put it through since it isn’t the same as the picture?
Well Jane I think it just depends on the coupon. It is really common sense too about what you think might be a problem and that might come with a lot of experience couponing. In this case I can see that coupon being a headache and I probably would have chosen cashiers very carefully and been ready for an arguement. If you had a Nabisco Cookies $1 off coupon picturing Oreos and you bought Chips Ahoy it probably wouldn’t be a big deal at all. Typically you won’t buy the exact item in the picture on any coupon. This one was a little different though because the products were so different and the item would up being free.
