I have been gone all day shopping and I didn’t intend to hit Rite Aid but I did want to test the free Lays +Up that is printing this week.

It for sure worked for me and here is what I did:

Buy 4 Lays Stax at $1 each
Buy 6 Chex Mix at $1.50 each
Dreyer’s Ice Cream $2.99
2 Stayfree at $6.99- Buy One Get One Free
Subtotal $22.98
Used Buy One Get One Free Stayfree from 1/9 SS (both packs were free)
Used (6) $1/1 Chex Mix coupons from Safeway Joy of Football booklets

Paid $9.99 + .58 tax and got back:

$5 +Up for spending $15 on select food items
$2 +Up for buying Dreyer’s
and I got $1 +up for each of the Chex and the Lays for a total of $17 in +Up back.

If you don’t have those Safeway coupon book coupons you can still get a great deal. I could have used the $4/20 Rite Aid coupon or you can find more coupon matchups on the Rite Aid deals here.

I thought the max value of the stayfree was $6.oo that was why I got the 3.99 ones.

Elaine- I just looked quickly at it and I didn’t even see a limit but I would have paid .49 a pack. I actually grabbed the only two on the shelf that were left- the entire wall of Stayfree was wiped out.

@Sarah. No chance! She likes Target but I am donating all the food (except the ice cream) so she really would have had a fit if I bought a bunch of junk food and didn’t give her any ๐Ÿ™‚ They stay home when I go shopping for the most part.

I just had to comment and say how fabulous this photo is; not only is she adorable, but I think it is fabulous she can get just as excited as mommy about shopping and saving money!!!

Kristin as much as I would like to pretend that was the case and I am a perfect parent- I have to say she is thrilled to pieces to get ice cream ๐Ÿ˜€ They almost never do and she could barely stand the excitement. Maya was beside herself as well over seeing the ice cream come out of the bag.

I had an excellent shopping trip!!!
    2 NY bagel crisps
    2 gatorade
    2 V8 juice
    2 Edy’s icecream
    1 smuckers jelly
    2 Hartz dog treats
    1 advil 20 count
    1 afrin nasal spray
    2 dixie plates
    2 RA facial tissue’
    2 stayfree
    1 gallon milk

I used a bunch of manufact and RA coupons
also used $5 RA up rewards from previous visit
    spent $11.46 ($1.96 was tax)
walked out with $19 up rewards
so even after my $5 in previous up rewards and the $11.46 in cash ($16.46 total), it was a money maker of $2.54!!!! I was so proud of myself ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for tip, Charlene. It worked great for me this morning. Are you allowed to go back and do it again? Can you use your first up rewards and have it print more just like the first time? Thanks!
