Also I found lots of make-up (L’Oreal, Revlon, etc) on clearance 50%-75% off. And the Revlon generated the $7.00 ECB when you buy two (ends today). Hopefully the L’Oreal will generate the ECB on the clearance item.

Ronni were you able to get the ECB on the Revlon clearance? I tried and it did not print for me:( I was told that it didn’t qualify because it was clearance. I want to call customer service if this was different for you!

Tara we had a conversation about this when I posted:

Just call customer service and they can push it through for you.

I am definitely stocking up on soda this week! That is a fabulous price – considering my usual buy price is $2.50/12 pack!

    Thanks Charlene:)

So will two $10 ECBs print for the Pepsi if they fall under two categories? (Assuming I buy 6 12 packs for $20 it would qualify for both, right?) *crossing fingers*

  7. Amy says

Went this morning right when they opened and of course, somebody wiped out the Electrasol last night 🙁 🙁 Got a raincheck though!

I did do the Maalox deal and it worked just fine. I bought 4 bottles and used 4, $5 coupons. The cheapest Maalox I found was $5.99 and there were only two left of those so I had to get 2 of the $6.49 bottles. Still a MM though!

  8. Charlene says

    01/09/2011 at 10:40 AM

The cheapest Maalox I found was $6.99 last night. I imagine I am out of luck already because the store I went to had a total of 4 available at that price 🙂

  9. Charlene says

    01/09/2011 at 10:51 AM

Melissa- you have to watch the limits on the ECBs. If you mean the Izze, Starbucks, Pepsi one it is a limit of 1 ECB which means only $10 will print.

But they are two different offer numbers. Each offer has a limit of 1 but there are two different offers from what I can see. I’m going to try it right now… will report back…

  12. Janey says

    01/09/2011 at 11:58 AM

I was wondering the same thing on the Pepsi deal(s) since there are 2 different offer numbers on the ad.

I’m hoping it’s 2 different deals so I can get our 13yr old his fix of caffiene and me some Starbucks.

I have some $2/12-pk or larger Cottonelle blinkies and need to find them to see if they’re still good. If so, this is PERFECT timing because we are down to the last pack of TP here!

  13. Tiffany T says

    01/09/2011 at 12:41 PM

I have an answer to two questions:
    1. Wheaties ARE part of the General Mills cereal deal.
    2. I did the (6) 12 packs of Pepsi deal and only received (1) $10 ECB back so the two Pepsi deals are NOT overlapping.

    Hope that helps!

Just returned from a very profitable CVS trip and wanted to share a quick note. I have been told by several CVS employees that this particular store accepts expired ECB’s. I tested it out today, and they had no problem taking them. I did realize that I need to print the coupons that come via email right away, you can’t print them once they’ve expired but you can still use them if you have them. Might be worth checking your local store to see if they do the same (I was told that not all stores do it). Sure is great for those months when there’s not much going on and you can save them for great deals like today (I spent $6.11 oop and saved $90.03!)

  15. Melissa says

    01/09/2011 at 1:33 PM

Well, it didn’t work. I bought six 12 packs and they rang up as $19.95 (even though the ad said 6/$20). I got a $10 ECB for buying 6 but I thought if I bought one more thing to push me over the $20 I’d get another $10. So I bought a $1 Sobe and it put me at $20.95 but no ECB printed. I had a manager look at it and apparently you’d need to buy $40 worth to get both. I just think this was really misleading. I still got soda for a great deal, but I’m always bummed when it doesn’t work the way I hoped.

  16. Melissa says

    01/09/2011 at 1:46 PM

One other thing… the deal in the ad where you buy a Snickers for $.89 and get $.89 back in ECBs… well, my store had signage all over with other products that also qualified for that deal (Twix, M&Ms, etc.). One of those products was Dove candy bars. And wouldn’t you know it… the red coupon machine spit out a $.50/1 Dove individual candy bar coupon. So I bought that and made $.50!

  17. Janey says

    01/09/2011 at 1:50 PM

Just thought I’d let you know that there’s a coupon at coupons.com good for $.50 off of a 3-pk (or 3 single packs) of Kleenex. 🙂

  18. Catherine says

    01/09/2011 at 2:04 PM

the Pepsi deal and the Starbucks deal are different

i did the Starbucks today. Got 4 (4 packs) of the Starbucks and 1 (2L) Pepsi and got the $10.00 ECB

the receipt said i had 5 cents toward the Pepsi deal

    thank you !!

  19. Charlene says

    01/09/2011 at 5:25 PM

Melissa- I got the same thing! My phone was dead or I would have taken a pic. Did you get the ECB? Mine didn’t print and the store was a total mess today so I didn’t bother with it. I did get the $1.59 ECB for Reese’s though.

  20. Charlene says

    01/09/2011 at 5:32 PM

Ok I am so lost 🙂 I do all three drugstores and Target within about 48 hours so forgive me if the deals seriously blur together. So your plan was to spend $20 and get (2) $10 ECBs back making it all free? So there is a reference to ECB #10312508 on the front and then the other with 10325631. You know. I think you can do the deal twice with Pepsi but I don’t think it will all be free.

I know what you mean Melissa and in my head when that happens I try to switch my thinking. So instead of saying I am bummed because I got lotion on clearance for $.65 but there was a $1/2 coupon I didn’t clip- so I could have paid .15 and now I am sad. Instead of thinking like that I change it to be- if I found lotion for $5 and used coupons and got it down to $.65 I would be tickled to death with myself. So I guess maybe just focus on how super cheap those 12pks are if you can 🙂

  21. Terri says

    01/09/2011 at 7:05 PM

I did the Gas X – Prevacid deal. Here’s how it worked for me:

    2 Gas-X at $5.99 – used (2) $4 off coupons
    1 Prevacid at $13.99 – used (1) $4 off coupon
    Total before coupons = $25.97
    After = $10.97
used $10 ECB from Transaction #1 Scott deal
used $3.00 CVS health care coupon

    .97 after coupons & ECB
    Got $10 ECB back

  22. Janey says

    01/09/2011 at 8:54 PM

Okay, I had to make an unplanned trip to CVS today to refill my ProAir inhaler because I lost mine. 🙁

Anywho, I got TWO $3/$15 coupons from the coupon machine today so I was giddy!

    I did the TP deal…
    2-$10 packs of Cottonelle (used 2 $.50/1 printables )
3-$2 packs of Cottonelle wipes (used 1 $1/2 printable)
Total was $21 and I got the $10 ECB

    Next transaction…
3-12pk of Pepsi (that was the ONLY one they had…no diet, Sierra Mist, etc) $3.33/ea
    1-Starbucks $4.99
    2-Doritos $2.50/ea (used 2 $1/1 peelies)
    1-2L Sierra Mist $1
I used 2 $2/2 peelies good on Lipton, Starbucks or Pepsi products

My total was $20.98 (before my coupons) and I got the $10 ECB *BUT* on my receipt, it says $19.95 earned towards the deal and $19.95 more needed to earn it again.

  23. Melissa says

    01/09/2011 at 9:28 PM

Yeah… I thought because the offer numbers were different that the products would overlap and apply to both. I was excited because I’ve gotten free stuff before but never six free 12-packs! But you’re right. I did get a seriously good deal on them. I wish they would have said something in fine print about “will not overlap with other offers” or something like that.
My $.89 ECB for the Dove chocolate did print… no problem at all.

  24. Stephanie says

    01/10/2011 at 6:39 PM

the renuzits at my store were 99 cents each instead of 88 🙁

  25. Sarah T says

I stopped by CVS yesterday afternoon and discovered that they had just finished restocking almost everything. I had been there earlier this week on Monday, and they had been completely out of Finish. I had planned on stopping by yesterday to ask for a rain check, but I did not have to since they had plenty of the products I needed!
